another thing mga sir... may naririnig ba kau tik tok sound kapag nakagarahe na yung strada... mukhang yung front suspension ata yun... yung spring... risky po ba yun o normal lang po???

NO NUMBER CODING. Marikina, Parañaque and Taguig.
NO WINDOW HOURS. Makati, Malabon and Las Piñas enforce coding from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
CITIES/ TOWNS WITH WINDOW HOURS. Caloocan, Manila. Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, Navotas, parts of Pasay (?!), Pateros, Quezon City and Valenzuela.
STREETS IN PASAY CITY EXEMPTED FROM CODING. Ninoy Aquino Avenue, MIA Road, Domestic Road, Sales Road, Tramo and portions (?!) of Airport Road..
STREETS WITH WINDOW HOURS. Edsa (even within Makati’s borders), C5, Diosdado Macapagal Avenue, Roxas Blvd.
DID NOT HAVE BUT NOW HAVE WINDOW HOURS. Pasig City and San Juan.
Pasay City’s coding needs clarification since only parts of it are declared as having window hours and unspecified portions of Airport Road are said to be exempted from coding.
Aside from the above, Boy Guevara forwarded info about MMDA policies reportedly obtained by telephoning MMDA Personnel Officer Antonio Pagulayan. Although Guevara says he got this from a Web forum and it still has to be confirmed, knowing about it may prove helpful in a future situation with the MMDA.
NO GATHERING IN GROUPS. MMDA officers are not allowed to gather together or even stand together in groups of two or more in order to apprehend, except for special operations such as apprehending groups of buses for smoke-belching.
SWERVING ISN’T A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. Moving one lane to the left or right is not swerving and is not a violation, much less if you do so with a turn signal. Swerving is defined as switching two or more lanes very quickly.
USING THE YELLOW LANE IS A VIOLATION and will get you a ticket. But you may complain if you see that buses going out of the yellow lane are not apprehended, yet a private car entering the yellow lane is.
YOUR LICENSE MAY NOT BE CONFISCATED FOR A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. The only time that an MMDA officer can confiscate your driver’s license is when you are involved in an accident or it is your third violation and you haven’t settled your fines yet. The MMDA officer may issue you a ticket, which you can contest if you believe it is unjustified. If the MMDA officer insists, accept the ticket and report him to MMDA Metro Base or the MMDA Hotline.
ASK FOR THE MISSION ORDER. You can ask the MMDA officer for his Mission Order written by his supervisor. If an MMDA officer apprehends you for a traffic violation that is not in his Mission Order for the day, you can report him and he will (or should) receive disciplinary action.

In any case, according to this forum you can call either the MMDA Hotline 163 or the MMDA Metro Base at 0920-9389861 or 0920-9389875 to send inspectors over while you are contesting your apprehension.

Nung tinanggal 'yung mga tornilyo e wala na 'yung tunog? Ayos 'yun a hehe. 'Yung tik tok sir nangyayari din sa 'kin pagkagarahe, tingin ko dahil sa lumalamig na 'yung makina... 'di ko sigurado kung normal 'yun hehe. Ano po sa tingin niyo mga guru?

sir sael told me that by doing something to the clamp of the leaf springs that the noise will be eliminated, i wasn't sure what he was talking about but maybe some of the guys here know and elaborate more. it really is annoying, my truck already emitted the squeeking noise as early as a week old.

Retrofitted my Strada with Projectors from Sir Gary of Honda Club and i'm very satisfied with the output. Grabe ang liwanag sa gabi. And oncoming vehicles wont be blinded because we aligned it responsibly. Here are some pics. Enjoy.

This was taken at 5:00pm. So mas maliwanag pa yan pag gabi na. =)

mga bro, base on my experienced, hinahanap ko kung saan nanggaling at nakita ko na yun leafspring clamp na dun nakalagay yun plastic spacer between the clamp and the leafspring. yun plastic spacer na yun, yun ang tumutunog mejo maganit o magaspang yun plastic materials na ginamit ng mitsubishi dun. yan din ang sinasabi ng casa ata na lalagyan silencer kit daw.,, kaya ang ginawa ko jan as per advice also by the maan arvin cristi., "pre luwagan mo lang yan clamp para di na aabot at mawawala na ang friction between the plastic spacer and leafspring" and after doing it nawala na yun tunog na parang tunog ng jeep.........hehehehehhe "good bye squaking sound"

Share ko lang recent experience ko. Last Saturday night, while driving my strada (2007 3.2 GLS Sport A/T) I experienced waxing and waning of power while accelerating at Nagtahan bridge which lasted for a few seconds then again it happened while at Gov. Forbes and this time my "check engine" warning light litted.

Earlier last month, I experienced the same, lasting only for a few seconds but did not recur after observing until this episode. Kinabahan ako ngayon kasi may kasama nang warning lights na hindi na namatay. I was able to drive my strada home in QC. I called my service agent and he volunteered to get my strada to bring it to Diamond Motors Q. Ave.

Monday, the casa checked and fixed my strada. The problem: Broken / clogged Suction Control Valve (SCV). The solution: They replaced it. The cost of replacement: FREE !!! kasi under warranty pa, hehehe. I was absolutely happy kasi my 3 years warranty will expire in 2 months at nakahabol pa.

So presently, my strada is in the pink of health.

    Yun lang...

with regrads the retrofitting of the strada's headlights to projectors with hids, fully sealed po ba and sure na di magfofog up or moist yung inside ng lens?? because if it was siliconed, it might let moisture form thru time as the sealant will deteriorate due to the high temparature of the hid inside the headlight...

we used OEM sealant for the headlights, so i think there'll be no problem with moisture.

yes its really irritating, drove for a day my brother-in-laws' 2010 strada with barely 600kms on the odo and the damn leaf pack squeaks already. I think by putting graphite grease in between the leaf springs will eliminate this as we have done with old vehicles with leaf springs. but its messy and dirty looking.

good morning sir, why not bring to the dealer and let them fix it. if not, try spraying wd40 on the silencer kit. (rubber between leaf spring)
