even with a steady throttle pressure, may naririnig ako na intermittent na tunog. Parang wong, wong, wong, wong (as if pina-pump yung pedal). around 2,000 rpm nag sisimula. below that, wala naman. Napansin ko ito mga 2 weeks ago, kasabay ng feeling na hindi gumagana yung Turbo (naging linear yung acceleration vs, isang biglang hatak at around 2,500 rpm). Nadala ko na sa casa the next day, and wala naman silang nakitang problema. Biglang hatak na ulit pag dating ng 2,500, kaso meron parin nung wong, wong, wong. Sorry, hirap i-explain eh. Haha.

Looking for ideas, para maisabay ko na sa 5,000 km check up. Thanks!

Yung sa akin, parang sinisinok yung makina habang nag-aaccelerate, pero walang unusual sound.

What you're experiencing may be an early symptom of a malfunctioning SCV. Better to have it checked sa casa.

Buti na lang hindi bawal ang wong-wong, hehehe.

Sir TP, for the past 2 years I have maintained my diesel filling with Caltex Q. Ave. corner Apo St. near Welcome Rotonda and nowhere else. Maayos naman yung Caltex station na yun. So I'm wondering if it is really dirty diesel or probably our SCV really has a defect.

Mukhang widespread yung apektado ng problem sa SCV, not only our club members but the general new strada population as well.

doc, Hindi ba nalubog nung ondoy yung station na yun? Baka nacontaminate yung tanks Nila because of that....

Naalala ko lang si bigblock nagpalit ng scv under warranty pa yun strada nya, sabi ng mitsu di raw sagot ng warranty dahil ang dahilan nila (ng mitsu) ay dirty diesel. bakit ganun di ba me fuel filter naman na nakabit ang strada naten? anu ang gamit noon? anu dummy lang ba yung filter na kinabit ng mitsu sa strada naten? ..........ano kaya ang ipaliwanag nila dito?......

(note, during pms kapag sinabi ng service booklet na need to replace ng fuel filter, papalitan nila bayad naman tyo...hahahahahha kaka praning isipin...whahahaha)

saw in the invoice that i got from union otis manila, the scv costs 5000pesos, i have the invoice, but it was waived due to the warranty...could it be that if labor was included, it would be 15k?? because if that is the case, i might buy a few of that scv part and keep it in stock.....good idea????

maybe we can start a list of people who have had their SCVs repaired under warranty and list down where they had their mitsubishi vehicles refilled and what type of fuel?? i, trying to see a trend...

i use caltex most of the time in soler st. manila.

im just surprised to see that some of the stradas and MS stat to show the scv problems as early as 5,000kms..
