Clarify ko lang sir ah, sabi kasi nung personnel ng carryboy, kapag nasira yung motor, puwede pa ring mabuksan yung lid manually. Is this true?
Ako din plaka ko di pa naibibigay up to now. may problema daw sa production ng lto ng plates. pero naibigay na yung or/cr sa akin.

regarding sa roller up/roller lid, sabi sa akin nung carryboy personnel, kapag nasira daw yung motor, di mabubukas manually yung lid, pero mabubukas daw yung tailgate.
sabi nila sa akin usually fuse lang naman daw ang nasisira dun sa automatic na roller lid. i dont know pero tingin sinasabi lang nya yun just to convince me to buy the automatic. pero late na kasi nabili ko na yung manual hehehe.
regarding sa license plates/OR and CR/stickers, may problema ngayon sa LTO. wala daw silang materials panggawa ng mga to, so nag-issue yung LTO ng advisory na wag huhulihin yung mga walang plates/stickers na sasakyan. here's the related thread:

just got my license plates last week, pero wala pa din stickers. everyday ko na lang pina-follow up sa sales agent ko...

Mukhang less hassle nga yung manual compared sa motorized ah. Thanks for the info sir!

hello mga future Bosb's!
I just wanna raise a devils advocate about the Roller-up cover..
because from the past, the roller up cover has a bad reputation on it being not waterproof and rustproof....
because if you can back read more....there are accounts that water leaks on the inside when it rains hard and the railings when became rusty, it might end up to a stuck up and make it hard to open....and for the motorized one...there are also some accounts of it interfering with the car alarm's system...and BTW this goes for all the brands that is availble on the local market may it be Carryboy or Pace Edwards...
So thats why not alot of Bosb's installed the roller-up lid and settled for the sports lid and soft lids instead...
However, I've heard about the new version of it by carry boy and still waiting for the reviews of it...
But then again...as what sir pransis have mentioned in his earlier post...
it will still end up to the user...if its really in line with the work or usage like in his case, dog breeding, because of the occasional dogcage loading Etc...Then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't go for it...
Hope it helps...
I also hope that you could join us all soon in the club....Last edited by locoroco777; February 16th, 2010 at 03:51 PM.

February 17th, 2010 09:25 AM #12619^^ yes depende nalang talaga yan sa gamit, nag pa install din ako ng roller lid(manual) last monday sa carryboy and am thinking na during rainy days pwede naman patungan ng plastic sheet or whatever that will minimize water getting in. Sa kaso naman ng stuck up,occassional lubrication/maintenance will prevent this lagot lang kung mechanical yung problem.
