If you want original volks, go to autoplus in greenhills along edsa. There are 2 types of te37, one is te37x and they're available in 16 in. only, and the other one is te37 large pcd which is available in 18 in. only. There's no orig. 20 in. volk te37.

Meron dito naka 18 in. chrome in a white strada. Bagay na bagay. IMHO, 20 in. is too much. Parang magmumukhang kalesa, unless you're going to lower down the body of your pick-up. If you're a city slicker, 18 or 20 in. is fine, but this is not good if you go off-roading or travel to the provinces due to bad roads. Bigger rims are also much heavier making acceleration and braking a PITA, not to mention higher fuel consumption and harsher ride.

    Just my 2 centavos worth.....

Walang TE37's na 20's kasi they're intended to be used in off-roading/racing and not for show...most of the stradas or any pickup for that matter use 16 inch setup because it's the ideal size for off-roading... Personally, I'm not into "bling"(i.e. Chrome, 20's, and the like)... like drave, i prefer the jdm/ off-roading / racing type setup...simple lang pero anlakas ng dating sa mga taong talagang me alam sa motoring.... If you have the money bro, just buy the 18's na te37's.... suggestion ko lang to and shempre iba iba tayo tastes... It all boils down parin kung saan ka masaya diba? Just remember that the strada in itself ay maganda na...simpleng mods lang will be enough.

meron nga yata lalabas na black bro....anyway, strada na kuhanin mo bro...
just think of it this way, sa lahat ng car magazines and websites, hands down na ang winner sa mga tests ay strada. Sa motioncars, the d-max was rated higher than the hilux sa comparo nila...tapos, the strada naman beat the d-max by a mile sa comparo din nila...these journalists know what they're talking about...just take it from the experts and choose the strada... 6months nako owner and super satisfied parin ako...

thanks for the insights guys.. tama nga kayo, those 20 inch volks are made in thailand therefore not orig.. dami ko na nakita na stradas naka 16's na TE37's and for me the spokes are just too small/short.. havent seen the 18's so i might check it out. Also, province talaga byahe ko, lucena - manila - lucena kaya hindi nga ideal yung 20 inch+ rims..

Question lang.. lets say i get the 18's.. what specific tire specs would be ideal? siyempre kelangan maganda yung offset and i dont want it too look too small. masyado kasi malaki wheel wells nung strada. And do you have any particular brand in mind? thanks!

oops... sorry for the double post.

Follow up question lang.. any idea how much yung 18's na Volk TE37's?

Sky_Horizon: Get the strada.. Lumabas na yung Black.. I saw one yesterday sa showroom and its the meanest looking strada ever! Nagsisi nga ako na hindi ko naabutan, 1 week after i got mine lumabas na . Medyo llimited lang daw yung units kaya if your gonna get one, make a reservation soon.

thanks bro... you guys certainly made my decision easier with your comments.. i was leaning towards the strada naman pero w/ ur comments you made it easier. I live in cebu and i have seen 1 black strada lang.. guess i have to make a reservation ahead for the black... by the way is it really as fuel efficient as the previous post stated? how many km/l city driving lang kasi sa city lang ang use ko..

    Orig te37X 16 in. costs about 125k while the te37 large pcd 18 in.s costs about 170k.

If money is not an issue, then go for the 18 in. te37

Just took my 4 month old Strada GLS for it's first long drive to Baguio, and all I can say is that i'm all hands down to the STRADA . First of all, while on the NLEX, this VOLVO tried to outrun the Strada but did the STRADA give up? NO it matched the speed of the Volvo, and mind you this was at 180 Km/h !! (pls don't try this at home ) and dare you ask if this was the limit? NO! if my sanity hadn't kicked in the STRADA was still willing to give more power! And the steering when at this speed, it was still perfectly stable, because when i let go of the steering wheel it did not budge a bit. Also with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System, I was always competent of both my tire pressure and tire temperature at this mentioned speed.
To make the long story short we reached baguio in 5 hours, which already includes 1 and half hours of rest stops.

And do you think that's the end of the story? Of course not, after the on road adventure traveling to Baguio we did a little off roading! If you guys frequent Baguio a lot you would notice this 2 big "Radar" dishes in one of the peaks of the mountain ranges. This place is called Sto. Tomas and it is the highest peak in Baguio and the roads there are the perfect test for the off road prowess of the STRADA. Going up the steep slopes and off road condition was a breeze for the STRADA. How easy was it you ask?? I DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO USE THE 4X4, I went up that off road mountain on 2 H!
ALL in ALL I was satisfied, if not very impressed with this ALL new STRADA and I'm a believer that the STRADA truly deserves the COTY award for the best new PICK-UP!

woah kainggit naman..180 kph?!? grabe galing..
