Got my new ride last week from Citimotors Makati. Its 4x2 GLS Gemstone Gray Mica.

So far, modification made is FXR bixenon HID Projector retrofit by Garyq. Took them more than 15 hours to do the retrofit. Result is quite impressive.

Planning to do following (I'm more into function than form):
    - Complete rust protection (ziebart)
    - Diamond gloss (ziebart/carsaver)
    - upgrade horn (europa??)
    - Turbo timer
    - Rear Spoiler
    - Rain visor
    - Leather seatcover

Hope I have enough budget to do the above soon

    Para saan yung Turbo Timer?

So, I hope to solicit advise about where I could possibly get my periodic checks for a Montero aside from, perhaps, Rapide, Bosch, or some obscure but highly efficient shop?

    Autoplus? Hehe

It's for cooling down the turbo. You set the timer to one minute (or more), remove car key, lock/arm your montero sport. Engine will continue running and shuts off automatically after one minute.

Turbos need to be cooled down after long distance driving or when you have driven with high rpm for a long time, not so applicable in city driving.

Hi Sir Garyq, I guess that's my ride. The output is quite impressive. The bluish color band at the upper edge of the light adds to the "cool" factor.

To all fellow tsikoteers, this is my first time to install an HID light. I decided to go the proper way. Proper way means a complete HID Projector retrofit. Result is a clean cut-off without any glare to opposite driver. I just hate those plug and play HID that give a lot of glare, whether they are at the opposite lane or behind me.

nice one there, Master Sael! is that your Montero Sport? hehehehe...

also, what variant is this? I guess 2.5 GLS 4x2 A/T ito 'noh?

I presume that the bash plates you do for the Strada are very much applicable for the Montero Sport due to a very similar design on the first half. I'm wondering how will your tow hook fit the MS since the Spare tire is closer to the rear bumper. hmmm...

    hi,

paano pinapa linis aircon ng montero?

nasa likod lang ba ng glove box yun evaporator (easy access)? at hindi tulad ng mga toyota/denso ngyon an baklas lahat ng dashboard.

any non-casa aircon shop kaya ba linisin aircon ng montero?

    thanks

Sir, question lang about your HID upgrade. All along I thought our montero was already equipped with projector headlamps, which meant the only thing we needed to change was the bulb itself - from halogen to HID. Now it appears that that's not the case.

Am I missing something here? Is there a difference between our stock projector headlamp and the HID projector retrofit being referred to above?

FYI, my car is a 2009 GLS 4x2 A/T model. Hope to get feedback on this. Thanks!
