Mga sirs please help, what reversing camera is compatible with jcv avx 77 and what is the best brand and design of the reversing camera for our monty? Also where to buy this reversing camera? Another one is where to put/mount/insert that reversing camera on the monty? Please post some picture also... I've done backreading and saw sir mikko's post (if i'm not mistaken) about his own modifications of the reversing camera but i didn't see any pictures... I hope someone can help me with this before I proceed in ordering and purchasing those things... Thanks a lot...

Btw, I noticed when I test drove the monty test unit, I find the aircon to be weak in terms of 'coldnes' even when the blower is set on #3 and almost to the max position of the thermostat....Does mitsubishi use Mit-Air on Montys or do they use Denso?

I am very particular with air con but I still can't help turn my back on Monty. It will be my first diesel car err truck!!! I never liked diesel cuz of its noise and vibrations inside the cockpit but, the rising cost of fuel have left me no choice but to switch to diesel...I travel to south 4 times a week round trip back to manila and my 03 CRV is such a gas guzzler...1 full tank will only last me 280kms(city and hway) at most!!!!

Anyway, I really don't like the design of the grill on Monty, it is similar to Adventure...My first mod will be the grill.....Are turbo timers necessary on this car? I have friends who has turbo crdi engines and they told me that i dont need one..Can someone give me their input regarding my concern....

Thanks guys and count me in on the long list of monty owners!
About the TT (turbo timer), if you can give at least a minute or 2 of your time at idle after driving with high rev. (more than 2K RPM) then you don't need it.

Turbo timer is for convenience, kng lagi kang nagmamadali and you need to leave the car immediately and cant wait for the turbo to cool down, turbo timer is the answer.

    Good day,
    I'm new in this thread.
    We're planning to get a 2010 MS 2.5 4x2 GLS.
I would like to inquire, to those who recently acquire their 4x2 MS, does it has a Multi-Information Display Monitor, like those in the 4x4 variant (as stated in the Top-Gear Philippines Roll-out Issue Feb 2010)?

    Yes,

    2010 4x2 model changes:
*Multi info display same as 4x4
    *Rear tailgate cladding standard
*Keyless entry remote built into key
    *No passenger side door keyhole

Turbo timers are for convenience. Especially if other people will be using the unit (e.g. your kids, family driver, wife, etc.). They might not cool it down properly if they are running late or don't want to be inconvenienced.

sir otep or anyone could answer, may na sira kaya sa ngyari sa kin, when i was at full stop, the handbrake was at full up, when the green light lit, i didnt notice or forgot it so i shifted to drive, and revd the gas at 1800rpm, i kinda panicd why i wasnt moving and mistakenly shifted the gear to neutral, reverse and to park in one motion witin a second. the monty 2.5 a/t jerked forward hard, kinda initiating front brakes and the rear wheels skid about 5 inches long and smoked. may long term damage kaya sa transmission or other parts?
