March 6th, 2010 09:47 PM #9031Kung lagyan na ng VGT lahat ng Montero variants dito, winner na talaga ito dito sa class niya! Imagine, 3.2 4M41 churning out 197 hp and 441 Nm of torque, while the 2.5 4D56 churning out 170 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The Montero will become a monster truck!

You mean the fan for the aircon right? The high rpm it produces and its frequency to rev-up is the culprit.Last edited by Memphis Raines; March 7th, 2010 at 10:24 AM.

yep, its somewhat noisy but still acceptable- parang 3000rpm siya, IMO. you wont hear it that much when you are inside... the MS has sufficient sound insulation panels...
*numbah5, benchph1 - for the power hungry... you and i can feel their drool for the added VGT power!i presume the VGT is not available yet as a separate component to install on the Monty/Strada- 2.5 and the Pajero- 3.2, in case there is and you do want it installed in your trucks as an aftermarket, prepare to kiss your warranty goodbye...
Lets hope that MMPC can offer this soon- and compatible with our fuel! No word from them yet.

yes sir maingay ho talaga lalo na sa unang bukas ng aircon. pero pag mainit na humihina naman yun ingay (pero mas maingay pa ring kesa engine) nag babakasakali lang na baka me nagpalit. yap di nga po dinig sa loob.
