Asked them the difference between the 09 and 2010, until now they got no advice yet. Does anyone here got a "leakage" between the difference of the 09 and 2010 model? Thanks in advance!
According to my dealer, 2010 4x2 Model will have a Multi-Information display that shows fuel economy, compass, outside temperature, etc. similar to the 4x4 M/T model

Lesson learned, whatever color I chooses, proper cleaning and maintenance is needed!
Originally, I reserved for a silver colored monty. after a month of waiting, my SA called up and asked if i am willing to settle for a garnet green micca. I went to the casa and made a comparo between the garnet green and silver monty on display. I finally settled for the garnet green monty and I have no regrets. The color seems to turn darker when in a dark place or during night time and the garnet green color comes alive when in a bright lit place or during daytime.

My only regret is that my unit did not escape the wrath of Ondoy and it's still at the casa for nearly 3 months now.

    Montero Sport vs. Rottweiler

Share ko lang my experience. My Montero was disabled by my Rottweiler. Apparently, the brake hose of the montero is exposed. Rear Left side. You should see that hose. The dog chewed the mudguard and the Brake hose. This drained the brake fluid. When you start the Montero there is an alarm in the dashboard instrument panel and when you step on the brake, you have to depress it very deep. I had to drive to the casa very slowly using my handbrake even after refilling the break fluid as there is very little grip on the brakes. Is there a way to protect this exposed hose? Imagine someone just cutting or biting this hose and this could lead to accidents.

Once the engine started, I run the the vehicle immediately (based on instruction manual) but slowly. When the temperature goes normal (middle) its squeezing time.

had a gray metallic car, white car, and now a black monty. with gray metallic, i noticed that the metallic finish hides the swirls much better than the plain finishes. with white, you should be on the lookout for "libag" or stains that develop when you hardly wash the car with car soap, much more when you dont have it detailed regularly. i had a problem with the stains on those hard to reach places especially in the engine bay and in the area where the door hinges are located. but white hides the dust and dirt easily! light scratches are somehow camouflaged. black is the hardest to maintain! swirl marks, scratches, dust and dirt can easily be noticed. but with regular detailing and with constant care that the car wont get scratched or nipped, black is the most gratifying color...as it gives this deeeeeep luster making you wanna dive in! haha

i agree with sir mda. the monty's cool silver is the best bet for owners who arent into detailing or have no time to wash the car that often. the sedonna red does look nice sir! best if you go to a shop for regular detailing to maintain its deep luster. i think it even has a metallic finish so it will most probably hide the swirl marks better than the plain pyrenese black color. if i may suggest too, checkout the claysoil beige color! it may look plain in paper but you'll be surprised how great it looks on the monty....di ba sir jasapix?

HTH sir and congrats in advance for choosing a monty!
I own pyrenese black but I didn't experienced any swirl marks. I only use one pail of water in cleaning outside body using plas chamois. Make sure to use kanebo or aion brand that is made in japan. Plas chamois will suck the dust and it will never hurt your paint even you put some pressure on it.
