did my 1000km pms and costing me P2,389. they are not forcing me in using fully synthetic oil it's my choice so i used mineral oil instead. i will use fully synthetic oil on my 5000km pms so that oil and dirt can be drain after total break-in.

September 20th, 2009 04:49 PM #6735hello sir zostrich and congrats again to your new ride. i can't just imagine how powerful the 4m41 engine becomes after the k&n because the stock is already a hell of an engine. i'm just really a bit apprehensive right now to change the stock air filter because of warranty issues. Mine is a 2.5 and so far it easily manages 170 to 180 kph and can easily manage to pass most cars on the highway. very satisfied with that.
What i noticed though, was the quality of diesel one puts in the car greatly affects the car's performance - increased torque and hp, smoother and lesser vibrations. That is why right now, i am really meticulous when it comes to fuel that i fill to my monty. I once experience my car so sluggish that i thought there was something wrong with the engine just to discover later that it was just the quality of diesel making the difference.

September 20th, 2009 06:06 PM #6736The stock horn on the MS is suitable only for tricycles... a pair of Bosch Europas cured that. To new MS owners, please check the tire inflation pressures before setting off from the dealer. On mine they ranged from 45 to 56 PSI cold!
Look at the sticker on the frame of the driver's door for the correct pressure (for 5 persons, 29-32 PSi)

thanks for the replies regarding the spoiler install. removed the spoiler and reinstalled it with double sided tape and silicone sealant
it looks much much nicer now
i just used regular sealant, na medyo opaque white.
ive been using this sealant with my other installs like the tailgate garnish plus other DIY's on my other cars. its works great for me plus i think it looks cleaner than the black sealant. the kit on my jazz was originally put on with the black sealant and i found that in time it cracks. the white sealant remains "rubbery". ill post pictures of the install soonthanks again!

hi guys i plan to have something painted on my monty. was wondering if any of you guys can refer me to your favorite shops. i live in the qc area and am looking for a shop near fairview/commonwealth... mindanao works too since its on the way to my project site.
primary considerations are the quality of work and prompt delivery of service on the promised date. i wouldnt mind at all if the shop was reasonably priced too.
so if you guys can refer me to someplace that youve tried and tested, i would greatly appreciate it if you can give me contacts. hopefully your shops can take care of me the same way they took care of you. thanks guys!
