So here it is, the first tailgate cladding (local oem) is installed using strips of 3m double adhesive. While the one from thailand, aside from double adhesives, i found clips included in it at its back. 16-18 clips if im not mistaken. 8-9 on the upper portion and the same at the lower. Whats surprising is that as i was trying to test fit it. It seems that these clips are very much protruding. I confirmed with the installer (casa) how will it be executed, and was told that they will drill holes to accomodate the clips. One thing weird was that parts where the holes will be drilled are semi solid steel plates or the tailgate (reinforcement). So it will definitely take precision and accuracy in installing this. Plus if you get sawa with it. Your tailgate will be left whith multiple drilled holes. Which for me is okay but a definite no no.

Anyway fyi the 5 seater se that is available in the case is already equipped with the thailand oem cladding as a stock accesory.

    Hi sir Toots_S,

i just found a clip of a MS from pajerosport society. Have a look how it was made with holes. i got mine OEM (local) from casa with multiple stainless clips (though i dunno if it's the proper way) to give a better hold of the cladding and double adhesive 3M tapes but no boring of holes on my monty..
The clips are not protruding but it doesn't look macho in an exposed manner.

    hi guys,
need your opinion: what's the best options I have for a GPS unit to be used in Phils? reliable na ba navigation sa atin? maps?

yesterday, we drove from Geneva to Paris. mga 6 hrs drive. First time ko naka drive na 150-160 kph na tuloy-tuloy (hindi sawsaw lang like in NLEX), as in you could drive for hours and not hit the breaks at all! I forgot nga that I was driving a m/t previa (akala ko A/T nga nung nagpark kami for pee break).

We used a very reliable navigation gps aid (tomtom). Kaya I was asking if we have that technology ready sa Phils. Lagyan ko yung Monty ko. I'm really poor in locating places kasi.

ANyway, I need yata to change my keyset since I lost my other key. What's a good alarm that I can use to replace my existing one?

    Thanks,
    Be back in a week.

Check out AVT. they are the providers of the GPS for the New Galant SE. If this does not meet and exceed your expectations, pasensya nalang po as this is new technology here and still being developed probably to include them eskenitas!

May i suggest you go to Winterpine parin so they can provide the same MMAS system for your MS. Sorry to know you werent able to recover your keys. BTW, any response from your dealer aside from what has been mentioned earlier?

    HTH and ingat!

    Sir tc,
I have pics but only the outside part. But i can ask home to take some photos so guys can take a peek i'm a bit far away from home now.. It was almost perfectly fit using the double sided tapes. and almost weigh about half a kilo?? not quite sure but it's lighter than i thought it wasn't (plastic kase). i just don't know why the installer still needs an added clips to hold it. they said, it is designed and in fact the cladding has a place for the clips' installation. but i might find a better way of replacing the clips. it really doesn't look so good tsk. posting tomorrow
