Welcome and congrats new and soon to be montero owners!!! Please do include your names on our list.
The officers will have a meeting soon to finalize all the items, and then, we will have an EB. For the mean time, let us support sir ching this coming weekend on the franchise show (i think it will be at WTC). Goodluck sir ching!
*sir okidok, welcome back sir! how are the new mods?
*sir toronegro, happy bday to your monty!!!
*sir MOQ-echo, congrats sir! i don't have a tire guage in my tools
Just a reminder to everyone, I saw in the news last night a white montero slightly hitting a motorcycle along C5... Drive safe guys!

September 1st, 2009 09:58 AM #6245thanks for the acknowledgement sir gabrcri! to note, sir gabrcri and prez mic have contributed a whole lot in the effort as well.
the officers are coming up with a bunch of goodies for all club members. it has taken quite a while as the search for a supplier for the shirt and stickers has been a balancing act between best quality and reasonable price. rest assured, it will be worth the wait!
to all newcomers to the thread and new owners of our beloved monty, welcome welcome!

September 1st, 2009 10:35 AM #6247this is not entirely true! my monty is just a car wash away from your unequalled pink panther!
speaking of showroom condition, i just had my 3rd reapplication of optiguard at big berts last week. all the surface scratches that were easily seen on my black monty are gone! for me, this is one big advantage in having quarterly reapplications as you dont have to wait a long time before the scratches are buffed away and the sealant is reapplied. as we all know, scratches are most noticeable on black cars.
as i reached home after the optiguard application, i immediately applied a layer of this wax called rain hop. this wax does a good job in protecting the paint from watermarks caused by the rains. the difference that i noticed is that even when my rain-drenched monty dries out without washing off the rain drops, the dried out water spots can easily be wiped off and no watermarks are left! just wanted to share as im sure this comes handy for those whose montys are parked outside exposed to the rains and sunshine. as we have noticed lately, it would occassionally rain for a while during the day then the sun would come out, baking the rain drops on the paint surface causing watermarks.
rain hop is available at concorde. less than 400 petots only if im not mistaken. HTH!
