New Mitsubishi Montero Sport [ARCHIVED]

So the Montero's alarm is locally installed (specifically by Winterpine with its Code Alarm products)? I was hoping they did something like Toyota wherein everything is done in the factory.

Also how long is the supposed waiting time for a 4x2? Any colors that are particularly in hight demand?

Hi Sir,

My understanding is that although the installation is c/o Winterpine, they complete the installation of these accessories (alarm, sounds, etc) in the factory, i.e. before the unit is sent to the casa. AFAIK, they do the same thing for Isuzu, Honda and Toyota, as well as other manufacturers they have contracts with.

As for waiting times, current owners' experiences vary, but we know for a fact that they will depend on:

1. whether you get in-house financing, bank financing, or pay in cash (queue will be in that order)
2. the dealership you go to
3. the SA you speak to

Here in Mandaue City in Cebu the Dealer said there is no in-house financing. Its done with Local Banks. And I was told its up to a 3 wk wait.

55 watts HID 6,300 to 6,500 pesos depending on the location for the installation. best price is to met up at Angeles city at Total gas station at angeles exit at NLEX .
got mine at 5k - 35 watts and 6.2 k for the 55 watts.

good lock sa HID project... or better yet join the road trip to Baguio.
Since 25 minutes lang ang installation, it's just like taking a 25 mins break . by the time you knew it wala !!!! done ......HEHEHE or just arrange with the owner noel he can go to your place. i'l pm his cell no.

My top speed with my Monty was 190 KPH at SCTEX with 7 passengers!
no vibrations or anything, feels like running at 100KPH with my Exalta. lol

Yup after having my 1K PMS i tried 182 km/h in SCTEX ( night) going to tarlac & after my 5K PMS i did 195 km/h also in SCTEX (day time)going to subic, kaya pa! ..thats the power of the 4M41 3.2 engine :thumbup:

sir, i'm from bulacan, but will be at home only on sept 11-20. sana you can plan the mini-eb during this period.
