It's rainy season... the right time to road test also my new MS GLS SE.... While driving from Dagupan to La Union, I frequently chance upon deep water collections.... The PROBLEM IS..... THE SPLASH OF WATER SEEMS TO BE GOING FORWARD.... And because we are in a forward direction, the splash hits our windshield, blocking our visual pathways.... Kinda scary, right? Yes,, it is scary!!!! Because this nearly caused my own accident!!!!! I met a water collection just before a bridge... Siyempre, the splash when directly to my windshield!!!!! Therefore, I did not see the bridge anymore.... Buti na lang, presence of mind, I hit on the brakes para to give time for my wipers to work and clear the thick splash of water on my windshield....

Guys, if you happen to encounter this, what could be a possible solution...? Is it possible to put something else in the front wheels just to re-direct FORWARD SPLASHES?????

I think, this is a problem for people like me in the province where we have the pleasure of flooring our accelerators......

    Thanks.

    hi!

to everyone using ipods and our stock JVC head units... which ipod models do you use?

my 3-year old 5th gen ipod video finally gave up on me and i'm planning on getting the current ipod classic (120GB). for now i am borrowing wifey's ipod touch (2nd gen) and it seems to have some compatibility issues. it irritatingly pauses for a very brief moment kinda like the song skips then continues playing. it happens every two minutes or so.

anyone using the current ipod models while experiencing this? thanks all!

Flooring accelerators on a slippery road full of puddles is a recipe for disaster. Drive more cautiously and keep your speed at a minimum especially during the rainy season para makaiwas sa aksidente. Yun lang yung solusyon dun.

For me, on provincial roads, max ko na ang 100kph even on long stretch.
Mahirap na at baka may biglang tumawid.

By the way, driving at night on provincial roads or kahit na umaga basta maluwag at walang kasalubong, gumigitna ako, and do not stay at my lane kasi nga baka may biglang lumabas from the right side of the road, you know, those pedestrians. Pero pag may oncoming vehicles on the opposite lane or pa-curved ang daan, I go back to my lane.
