welcome sir...
i can only vouch for what i've installed on my unit and that is the bosch brand. i am happy with it since i don't get that irritating sound and it does a terrific wiping job. plus the fact that i have tried and tested its full potential last sunday's very heavy, zero visibility downpour, more than an hour of continuous high speed wiping!

July 28th, 2009 03:31 PM #5082got it. worth a try!
i know its a minor flaw but i must admit im quite irritated by this wiperblade issue on our montys. its the first time ive experienced this on a new vehicle. usually, with a new vehicle, i'm in awe of how smooooth the blades wipe...its like spreading butter! when i got my monty and used the wipers the first time, i was in awe too....as in awnobayan! (WTF)!
dont know if our front windhshield has a different coating from others thats why we experience this, or something else. haaay...i dunno

luckily, my OEM wiper performs well and smooth up to this time. i had a USTEK banana type on my crosswind for 450 a pair (from C3 Audio) and again was so lucky that it glides too well
when it comes to bosch and osram, i get my consumables at warren auto supply in benavidez mla. they have complete line of bosch products like halogens, filters, horns, brake pads and even battery.
there is one located at banawe too, it's at kabignayan street, forgot the name of the dealer but i have their contact nos. at the office. will post it tomorrow.
so sorry for the new styles and gimmicks of some SA just to close one deal. before it was their insurance schemes then now its about add onsthey know for sure that those accessories can be acquired outside for a much lesser price. so for those really decided to get a monty, again have some patient and don't rush. a try for other dealers and SAs are very much suggested.

July 28th, 2009 07:01 PM #5084Hi Guys,
Question... what do you think of sedona red? My first choice was white but after 2 months of waiting and hoping... wala daw... the only color available given to me is red... they said they can give it to me after 2 days... wad really disappointed since I wanted white... no offense sa red owners...
I just want ot ask you guys if meron kayo nakita na red sa daan and how does it look like... maganda ba? should I settle for it.. kasi if not and I insisted on white definitely mapapamahal na ako come august..
Thanks

Sir Hnda,
Marami na rin akong nakitang Sedona Red na Monty sa kalsada sir. Maangas din naman siya tignan eh. Just yesterday I chanced upon two red montys along EDSA (at two different times of the day), and found the color nice.
Honestly sir kahit anong kulay naman ng monty natin okay sa mata. Ang question na lang diyan is okay ba sa inyo yung color na yun? At the end of the day, you will be using it, so the person whose opinion counts most when it comes to colors is your own.
If one of your alternative colors is RED anyway, then why not go for the one they're offering now? On the other hand, if red isn't really one of your preferred colors, I suggest try looking for your second/third color options at other dealers.

Thanks for the inputs sir j*sto. The thing is, my wiper is not noisy at all. It sounds like any normal wiper, swish then swoosh. No problem with sound. My problem is that it is blurry when the wiper goes up, then very clear when it goes down. I might try the Rain Away option first. If there is still a problem, then I'll replace the wipers.

In my case, my first choice was truly sedona red, but for the family, it was the second choice. The family's first choice is black or gray (for them, the difference between the two is just incremental, not like the gray and black of the strada which is really different). We reserved for a red one already then sabi meron daw gemstone gray, which is the first choice of the family. Ended up with a gray unit. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter, I like both, red or gray.

*sir chng re your question on paint protection...i would refer to the above pictures regarding the shine and luster that a diamond gloss, from ziebart, gives to a black colored unit. prior to taking these pics, there was a very light rain (which means it was absolutely not clean yet that time).
