you may want to use RAIN AWAY made by turtle wax, less than P200 (can't remember) for a small plastic bottle which you can buy from ace, true value or handyman.
you may need to replace the wiper too. I got Bosch BANANA type and looks good on my monty and absolutely no rattling sound.

OINK! OINK! hehe... just kidding!
Nice exhaust sir, it makes the monty more macho! I like it! by the way, we call it exhaust in this thread as requested by many during the very early pages (i don't even know what's the difference)
Oh, does it make that "trompa" sound? Does it heavily vibrates/wiggles in place (kumakalog ba)? Also, i noticed that your unit is all red.. you painted over some parts? or the SE is really like that?
* sir revD, congrats o your new ride!!!
*sir jasto, yes sir, that's what sir mhigz also suggested, the rain away thing hehe

I'm not exactly sure the difference is, but from my understanding, a muffler is basically the can and the tip.. whereas the exhaust is the whole system starting from the end of the down pipe. If this is just the can and the tip, then i would refer it as a muffler. I heard that in diesel engines, even replacing the muffler would not give you that racing sound(or so i call it butas na lata sound). So its nice to put a muffler on because the sound is usually just right.. a little deeper than stock.

July 28th, 2009 12:08 PM #5056sir! have you applied this to your monty? big difference ba? ive changed my blades already but they still wiggle when they wipe although much much less than before. i still want to get rid of that wiggle! also, is this a one-time application?
re bosch banana type blades, did you get the ones sold by piece or the dual pack sold as a set? when i checked, if by piece it costs about 1t each but if as a set its only around 1600 a set. have seen those that come as a set but couldnt find the right size for our monty. ours is 22 and 18 inches.
ty j*sto!

tried and tested and works great! i had that experience last sunday...heavy downpour from valenzuela to alabang and never wiggled. yup, banana type yung sa akin. got it for 1,800 for dual set (medyo napa mahal coz change item lang ginawa ko...mic knows the story he he he). the problem, when i bought them, there is no available 22-18, and i got the 20-18 only. i suggest go with 22-18, don't settle with 20-18. then if that is the case, no way but to buy separate. very easy to install too, just hook them up just like the stock wiper's.

sir stubby...you're asking the turtle wax Rain away too right? yup, i've been using that for several years now. i use it not only for the windshield but to all windows. it is a great protection against watermarks. 1 small bottle usually lasts for more than a year per unit.
pag ambon lang ang ulan, you don't even need to turn on your wipers. water droplets slides through the windshield, after that light rain, windshield remains clean and you can hardly notice that it had rained - no watermarks. apply it as often as you like. normally you use it only during rainy season hence a bottle for P99 (i think) is very much worth it.
i tried the other 2 brands (forgot the brand name, 1 is "as seen on tv", the other is packed in red carton box), but the turtle wax is the best. Elevo, has it also. I am using their glass cleaner (watermarks remover), and it works great too! This, you use for heavy watermarks only. Don't use too much as this is ammonia base and really designed for removing heavy stains.
