...thanks WenG2 for the pics...wow...now i can see what will be the outcome of my rear set-up (except that i prefer the silver tone for the rear lower garnish to match the front skid plate and the side step boards). with that silver tone...i thought of having a rear skid plate look. what do you think of such set-up?
got them from the casa. 'been waiting for that and 'been following up mmpc. thanks to mr LC from MMPC who had patiently answered by email queries!
tailgate cladding is 3.9K (round off); rear garnish is 4.5K. if casa painted and installed...total for the 2 set-ups would be around 13K.
Here are the parts number...LZ080005 (cladding) and LZ080004.

Hey man.. months ago when i first saw gixxer's setup, i called mickey to ask and he told me (at the time) that he has 2 subs that fit that kind of enclosure.. which is the Image Dynamics and JL... when i asked him, he told me the JL would be better but the ID was cheaper... at least that's what i remembered. Maybe you can look into that. Ask mickey what's available for that application, tell him regardless price. Then choose from there.

Unlike the fortuner, ours have a different system for the spare tire.. Do you know how to access our spare tire? For those who might not, there's a screw like knob under the cargo area in the rear, we twist it and the spare will come down. Unlike the fortuners, its not locked that way, but through bolts under the car. That's why people opted to put chains and locks on their fortuners.. Another is, with the fortuner, you can see the tire from the back. With ours you can't, there's still some sort of a shell/cover around it.

looking at the details of the cladding and referring to my discussion with MMPC personnel (who's part of the team that is developing the accessory line up for MS), it looks like that the one installed here is the old and discontinued version. MMPC has improved the curve to match or flush (even a slight) with the side bumper's curve (but still not the horizontal line). though it is not as good as sir ntyce's cladding design. MMPC could not have that kind of sir ntyce (made by a-toy) since it will cover the emblems. MMPC could not alter nor remove any original parts installed on the MS as this would be a violation of intellectual property rights of Mitsu Japan.
the rear lower garnish that i saw this morning, is not that as fat or embosed type (shown on pic). MMPC has [probably] improved the design of the new garnish to make it look part and flushed to the original bumper design. {not sure though since i have not seen it installed yet; but i really hope that the one i ordered is a better (flattened) design}

Sir, " chay yen yen "( Thai word relax or stay cool ),I think you shall know the meaning....
Dont because of present anger and change your mind to Fortuner, i think you may get more upset, change the distributor..........just think about bad distributor, but good car...
Thanks
