So far haven't added anything to the system though dahil full naman siya (the radiator-up to the cap gasket level). Any implications or things i need to do? (Does it qualify it as candidate for the blown radiator? - hehehe - Wag naman sana) Does it have any effect on warranties, etc? TIA
i haven't read any precautions or danger in opening the radiator when cold. manual only states that never open the radiator when the engine is hot to prevent injuries because of the pressure build up. also never top up the radiator with plain tap water.

warranties? don't worry they will never know if we open and /or how many times we open our radiator. also, we are not assured either whether they open it or not during our PMS.

It look like the leather skin peel off, maybe due to poor quality of leather, i never see this for my previous car....

but my office leather chair having the same peel off, but it already 5 years old na...and i think my office chair made in China....
sir chng, i think if we can prove to the dealer that its cause was from natural "rubbing" then good we can claim it but as arbe mentioned it was a reaction that came from harsh chemical "thinner". i wish him good luck too and hope the dealer consider it as "natural".

+1 on this . what's all the fuzz about opening the radiator anyway. kaya nga po me opening sya para macheck at malagyan. E di sana po ginawa na lang nila po yung permanently sealed kung hindi pwede buksan>

Thanks for this info sir! I almost did it with my monty today.. your post was just in time

thank goodness we haven't encountered any radiator problems with our past and present vehicles because they always open the radiator and put tap water.. or maybe we're just lucky

sir, can you pls name those shops that can provide genuine leather re-upholstery..since i am here in iloilo and for sure theyre not available here..but i'll try to ask my SA if it will be covered under warranty period..I hope i could fix this mess..

yes, i'll just ask my SA kung cover ng warranty.. I'm thinking to lie on him and tell him that its natural and cause by excessive rubbing but i don't know if he'll believe since it's pure genuine leather for SE.. maybe i'll tell the turth na lang and next time I'll be extra carefull....
