    argh! sir, try to bring it to shops mentioned in this thread that do genuine leather re-upholstery. they might be able to help. and if they dont have the exact leather as your oem, maybe they can replace the affected portion of that seat with the leather they have, then do the same for the other front seat...so both front seats will still match. i hope you get what i mean

    it's a genuine leather for SE right? don't worry, try seatmate and have a quote for that seat only. they have genuine leather and they can duplicate that.

    btw next time sa floor na lang lagay mga thinner hehe.

    sirs,

    I have gone into the habit of opening the radiator cap of my old pick-up (for inspection and re-filling) and hence have done the same to my monty (huhuhu). Guess I've opened it 3 or 4 times na. So far haven't added anything to the system though dahil full naman siya (the radiator-up to the cap gasket level). Any implications or things i need to do? (Does it qualify it as candidate for the blown radiator? - hehehe - Wag naman sana) Does it have any effect on warranties, etc? TIA

    You can also support our Montero's brother Strada and Pajero if you wish.

    Thanks for the heads up sir!!!

    Turbo timers essentially are used to prolong engine life. Its function is to keep the engine running when you've stopped the car so that the oil in the turbo chamber would burn as much as possible leaving little to no residue stored in the chambers. Some people just sit in their cars idle a few seconds/minutes before turning off their engines. Then we have us who's lazy to do so or in a hurry when we get to our destinations and want to turn off our cars right away. So the reason for installing turbo timers is to burn up that oil left from our trip, which could build up after a few years especially if you're a high rev driver.

    My suggestion for those who do not want a turbo timer, a few km before you hit your destination, just drive low revs and try not to press on the gas hard, and it'll be ok. If you've gone long distances with high revs, highway roads, adjust the distance of when to slow down. That'll help a lot already.

    *mikko as for the warranty... adding anything can void the warranty, that's just how the system work in the phils. By adding it, it could void your warranty for the turbo. But some say that by installing it at winterpine the warranty, the warranty might not be voided. But mitsubishi will find any way to void your warranty of course.. My recommendation to you, get yoru timer afte the warranty expires, there's absolutely no immediate need for it anyways. I don't think you can build up enough oil deposits to ruin your car in 3 years.
    Thank you sir ntyce, I fully agreed with you, i think i forgot to add in the cool down of turbo.....

    Allow me to add in some;

    Normally the turbo set at RPM 2500, mean when you reach RPM 2500 and above, the turbo start to activate, and most of the turbo charger design for high compression, 2500 RPM and above, only few car come with Twin turbo, like Masarati, Porsche and subaru........one for low compression and one for high compression..that is for high performance car....

    Try to keep at low RPM few mins,or drive at low RPM and low speed, before stop the engine..
    I think we do not need the turbo timer....

    Thank you ntyce...correct me if i wrong...

    Sir XTO, if that for SE leather seat, can we claim under warranty ?

    It look like the leather skin peel off,maybe due to poor quality of leather, i never see this for my previous car....

    but my office leather chair having the same peel off, but it already 5 years old na...and i think my office chair made in China....
