June 23rd, 2005 02:02 PM #37sabi ko sa leaflet re: mivec, yung switch-over rpm is at 3,600 rpm. yung vtec and vvti, at what rpm po sila nags-switch-over?

yung 3.8L V6 MIVEC engine was for the USDM galant.
aba, ok ah! mababa yung rpm ng mivec. AFAIK, vtec and vvti kick in * 5-5.5k rpm... not sure about i-vtec though.

mivec is a two-stage variable valve-timing and valve-lift system.
vtec is two-stage variable valve-timing, "vtec3" is three-stage variable valve-timing. i-vtec is continuously variable intake-valve-timing (merong mga mas advanced versions ng i-vtec in other honda products). vvti is like that also i think (VVTi-L is the one that has variable valve-lift).
AFAIK. nalilito na rin ako diyan e hehe
