Manual tranny of Montero calls for a 75w85 GL-4 oil. I cannot find this exact viscosity, can i use 80w90 GL-4 from Castrol? Thanks.

Kakapalit ko lang differential oil. 75w85 gl-3 bro yung nasa label.

Im not an expert, pero the higher the number the more viscous.

Yup. Sa manual talaga, it recommends 75w85 gl-3. But since gl-3 is already inactive, i opt for gl4, wag lang gl5 since its harmful sa brass synchros. May i know sir kung san ka nakabili gl-3 and what brand? How much na din? I have gl4 80w90 for 2 days now. TIA.

XCS, tried other brands hindi hiyang sa revo ko.

Nahirapan nga ako maghanap ng other brands. Bago ko ipachange oil sa casa nagback read na ako dito sa forum kung ano ginagamit ng iba. Kaso nahirapan naman ako maghanap at bumili sa probinsiya. Sumuko na ako at casa oil na ginamit ko. Hanapin ko resibo post ko dito breakdown ng pms.

I didn't like the effect of 80w90 gl4 oil on my tranny, hard shifting in the morning.. i flushed them kanina after just 3 days. Then i got lucky sa paghahanap ko sa auto supply kasi nakakuha ako ng mitsu genuine oil 75w85 gl3, now my tranny shifts like new.

Sir, 450 per liter. Sa banawe ko nabili. Di ko maalala name kasi palipat lipat ako ng pinuntahan, lagpas 20 ata napagtanungan ko, basta kung galing ka araneta q.ave., kanan ka sa banawe. About 1 to 2 blocks lang yun sa left side.
