in long drives when you have the opportunity to crank up your gas pedal, mabilis din spooling o ikot ng turbo at umaabot sa sobrang init. yung mabilis na ikot na yan at sobrang init ang iniiwasan dahil kung patayin daw agad ang makina at umiikot pa ng mabilis yung turbo shaft, wala na supply ng lubricating oil sa turbo bearings, then eventually dahil sa init din, matutuyo yung bearing and in the long run masisira. its with that principle kaya naglalagay ng turbo timers yung mga sumasali sa karera to ensure na may time na magslowdown and cool down the turbo bago magswitch off makina. sa stop and go traffic at hindi naman madalas nagspooling ang turbo kaya mabagal lang ikot.

September 18th, 2017 12:21 PM #3813My timer is fixed at 2 mins, di ko na binabago weather galing sa long drive or short drive..

since 2009 until now, i have not heard any montero na nasira o nagpalit ng turbo dahil walang turbo timet o dahil natuyo ang langis sa turbo bearing. very slim ang chance not unless siguro sumasali ka sa karera at under extrene operation yung turbo.

September 18th, 2017 05:06 PM #3816Ang ginagawa ko lang after park, off aircon, tanggal seatbelt, ayos ng gamit (phone lagay sa bag), check everything walang maiwan or itago sa ilalim ng upuan para hindi makita ng mga basag kotse gang. Then off na engine. Enough time na yun

Is there any way to deactivate the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)?
Looks like my system is already broken. I already had this checked several times. Left-Rear tire keeps on showing up warning signs on the head unit, but upon manual checking, pressure is the same with the rest of the tires. By the way, I check the tire pressure while they are still cold.
I've decided to totally deactivate as I don't really use/need it. Its just irritating every time a warning pops up on my screen.

Basta nakakahilo pag naamoy mo.
