iirc, may nakabanggit dati na montero user din na meron yata silang binabago sa ecu during sa 1st pms. paglabas ng casa, either naka torque priority mode o fuel economy yata yung setting. paglabas yata naka torque priority kaya malakas ang hatak, then after 1st pms binabago na using yung laptop nila. may mga instances talaga na nagiging mahina na response and worst, naging mausok kasi binago na yung setting sa ecu. better bring it back sa casa. maliban sa casa, may mga fix din yan like EGR cleaning at blanking nabanggit na ni sir prince.
dito sa naman sa tsikot, marami talaga makakatulong. almost all the issues sa respective cars natin ay na-discuss na so read lang yung mga related threads sa queries mo. search muna yung topic then kapag talaga wala mahanap na sagot o similar topic then ask na at maraming makakasagot niyan.

Due na ako for 5k pms, had the 1k done there and oks naman.
Any feedback from this dealership as far as PMS are concerned?
Am also thinking of going to Diamond Q Ave kasi mas malapit sa amin
Sa aftersales medyo negative sila...
Had to wait for 5 months bago makuha plates, and I even had to pull strings para mapadali, unfortunately wala pa din sticker up to now.
Ang tagal din pag asikaso sa documentation, or baka naman chopseuy yung agent ko.
Pwede ba mention name here? Baka sakali magising yung sales unit nila

malamang di pwede sir ;) kung pwede marami na nagpa-adjust. our units are tuned as production model, every variant merong corresponding hp output. although our engines are capable of generating more power, nililimit ng manufacturers ang output for mass production purposes. better still, you can have your rig remapped or install a tuning chip (like racechip, unichip, spiderchip etc) to add more power and better response sa lower rpm. yung remapping, may ilan ng mga ka-member natin sa Montero club nag-tune and they had significant increase in power. sa tuning chip naman, there are plug n play ones and have tweakable settings that you can adjust by yourself. search and read about them, they are posted somewhere among the threads.

i believe yung powerplant ng monty natin is very powerful, either non-vgt or the vgt version...
sa tunog pa lang at performance during driving. yun lang, it is degraded by the manufacturer.
kaya pigil yung full potential power ng 4D56....hehe

kung ok po ang first PMS in a certain branch, stay na kayo doon...at least may kakilala na kayo para i-assist kayo during the PMS.
about naman sa plates, sa amin, last month lang namin nakuha yung unit at naabutan na kami ng new plate, kaya expected ko na aabutin ng kalahating taon bago ma-release yung plate namin..
at least sa inyo meron na kayong plate, at yung sticker is to follow up na lang, di ko po sure kung sakop pa ng sales agent ang pag-process ng plates, pero for sure meron assigned na tao to follow up yung registration ng sasakyan..

Sirs,
Semi OT question lang po,
tanong ko na rin po kung tama po ba yung observation ko sa Non-VGT engine?!
yung turbo lag, ay ramdam during high gear, (4th-5th gear[60kph to 100kph]) during normal acceleration?!
and during low speed driving, and early shift in low gear, smooth acceleration ang non-VGT, kaya rin tumakbo ng MT ng 2nd gear start, (BTW: 2009 strada non-VGT GLS 4x4 yung na-drive ko)Last edited by playplugg; April 26th, 2014 at 11:09 PM.
