That was also the start (1996) of the Strada's CKD assembly at the Cainta plant since the L200 4x2 was made there also.

The Gen1 Strada was first introduced as a CBU from Japan in 1994 together with a plain L200 4x4 2.5 with no turbo. there are a few running around here.

that was only in Thailand and Australia. as far as the PhDM is concerned solid ang 4D56.

*Horsepower - lets say that the Next Gen Strada will be around 2013/2014. im counting 8-9 years from the time it made its international debut in Thailand on August 2005. Facelifts will be on the discretion of MMTh.

i agree around that time i cant wait to see kung ano naman ang mababago but i think they will stick to 4M41 engine since maganda din siya not like the 4M40 medyo wimp ang dating nag engine......................

ian, 8-9years is a tad too long. Super busy ang mga competitors ng Mitsu for them to stretch it that long. I could be wrong but they probably would do some upgrades.

hopefully on the turbo though. That 3.2 can probably do 300hp minimum with a better turbo.
