Mga bossing,
SObra na itim ng usok ng FM ko. Smoke belching grabe - I'm due for registration this month. Hence I'm planning for diesel calibration.
Can you recommend a good calibration shop in Las Pinas area please? I live near Manuela area. How much would a regular calibration cost? Any cost estimate?
Appreciate your suggestions.
Dave
Only go to a reputable calibration shop. On my rigs I only go to Denso. There's one in Alabang - inside Westgate. Yes you will pay a bit more but definitely much better than lower priced alternatives, especially road side shops which have PUJ's and PUV's as clients. Last time i had the IP of my Gen 2.5 calibrated it cost around P15k. HTH
^Yes yung denso or bosch authorized service stations okay mga yan tsaka yung Berrima Diesel ba yun, mukhang okay din based on posts here.
Yes Berrima and Central Diesel will also be good options.

Finally had my FM Pajero underwent calibration in JMRI Calibration Services located in Roosevelt, QC. Total cost was 14k, initial was at 17k, but was able to haggle down to 14K after I decided to have to have some parts cleaned and restored instead of replacement. The ff. parts were changed:
O/H Gasket
Oil Seal
Bushing
Delivery Valve
Injector Washer
Nozzle Tips
and labor/calibration service.
I drove home the FM after around 5 hours. I felt the speed acceleration, and smooth run after. Of course the smoke belching was gone.
Can't find any feedback of JMRI calibration services in tsikot forum. Hopefully some could also try their services.![]()
Guys, need your opinion
Mine is a 2003 A/T FM. These past days, parang may naririnig akong dalawang noise sa right side whenever I press slightly hard on the gas pedal. (1) parang screech na mahina lang naman (parang ung tunog ng dial-up pa ang internet hehe) and (2) relatively mas malakas na noise na parang humming pero malakas. Sumasabay sila whenever I press on the gas pedal kasi when I remove my foot, nawawala naman ung tunog. Also, the sounds disappear pag nagchange ng gear tas babalik ulit then pagnagchange ulit ng gear mawawala nanaman.
What could they be kaya or ano kaya ang ipapacheck ko?
Thank you mga bossing.
Which belts sir? Front and back brake pads were recently changed. Nagpalit din ako ng alternator and A/C belts kahapon.. Yung buzzing and humming sounds were there before and after ako magpalit, minsan meron, minsan wala. Pero pansin ko dependent yung sounds sa pag-apak ko sa gas pedal and they disappear kapag nagchange ng gear.
Yes sir. Sa X-trail Auto Parts and Service in Banawe ako nagpakabit ng alternator at A/C belts, sa kanila rin kasi yata yung SPIII shop na genuine Mitsubishi parts seller "daw." Yun yung pinakabit ko. Kapag bearing what does it mean? Will go to Mitsubishi Paco this Sat to have it checked sir. Or baka meron ka massuggest na pwedeng puntahan?
