question lang guys, kasi napansin ko, yung low gas light ko is turned on. pero full naman ang tank ko... bakit kaya kanito ito?
wow, may eb planned pala. tagal ko na di nakalog in sa forum.
anyway, just installed my new leds that i bought from superbrightleds. ganda! yung mga nalagay ko na leds before seemed patchy. as in maiwanag sobra at some parts and sa iba not so much. yung new leds ko, mas consistent na ilaw. nice!
anyway hope you guys can help me dun sa low gas indicator light ko. dont know if baka may nakalabit ako while installing my leds, or baka may problem yung sensor niya sa tank? anu kaya ito???

teejay, superbrightleds rules
hehe kung nung ginawa mo yung leds tsaka umilaw yung low fuel light, maybe may naipit kang wire. try to remove each socket one by one kung saan yung socket ng low fuel light. start from there. kung hindi sa wiring sending unit na sisilipin mo. sa pagkakaintindi ko yung dulo ng sending unit pag dumikit sa lowest part ng tank (body ground) yun ang connection niya para umilaw.

sir promdiboy, i checked the console na. wala naman off dun sa install ko ng leds so im assuming that while i was away sa states, may nagalaw yung mga aso dito sa bahay sa ilalim ng auto... do you have pictures of what im looking for na sending unit?? i wanna try to fix this on my own as much as possible kasi sana

teejay, ganito itsura niya, angat mo lang yung carpet sa 3rd row. open mo yung black plate sa gitna. makikita mo na. di ko pa natry yung ganyang problem, ang guess ko lang pag disconnect mo ng socket sa sending unit dapat mamatay yung light and fuel gauge. pag naiwan yung light sa wiring na siguro. pag namatay sa sending unit.

Just got my Pajero Fieldmaster yesterday, its a 1998 A/t 2.5 Diesel model.
Pansin ko lang na pag sa rektahan eh parang delayed sya mag shift kaya tuloy parang ang ugong na ng engine. Duda ko tuloy baka may problema ang A/T ko.
One more thing, pag naka 2H yung kambyo ng SS4 ang umiilaw ay yung dalawang gulong sa kaliwa tapos blinking yung dalawang gulong sa kanan. Pag naka 4H naman sya lahat ng gulong naka ilaw which is I think is normal.
Any of you guys experienced this problem? I would really appreciate any inputs or suggestions. O baka may marerekomenda rin kayo na mechanic / electrician para ma pa-check ko ang aking FM.

sir dlx, welcome to the club!
as for your problem sa shifting, siguro try mo muna i-change atf. use dexron III sir para sa atf.
dun sa ss4 problem, yung sa inyo ata ang kakaiba. kasi most blinking problems, eh yun 2 sa unahan ang nagbliblink pag naka-2H mode ang 4wd. tama kayo sir na normal na naka-ilaw lahat pag nasa 4H mode. siguro sir, try ninyo yun method na ginagawa namin about sa blinking problems. no need for electricians sir, kasi DIY naman po siya. nasa previous pages po siya sir, i think around page 250 ata siya kung tama ang pagkakaalala ko. basta andito lang po siya sa thread

Hanapin ko po yung sinasabi mo na DIY method.
I did another fun run to novaliches, I stayed at 4H and shifting is normal ramdam na ramdam ko yung gaang ng takbo nya compared pag naka 2H ako na blinking yung 2 right wheels. Pag naka 2H ako ang bigat ng takbo at delayed talaga yung shifting nya kaya ang ugong ng makina.
Sir additional question na rin to you and to the group, ano po ba ang average fuel consumption ng ating mga Pajero's para naman po may idea ako kung malakas o matipid or kung kailangan ko na i pa check si Pajero.

share ko lang, I was able to drive my uncle's 2003 FM ralliart version, 4x2 siya, with 94k sa odometer. cant help but compare his truck with mine, Unang una ko napansin is mas tahimik yung makina niya saakin, pangalawa walang gaanong vibration sa harap, dito ako nabilib kasi hindi siya mayanig pag idle or umaarangkada. Im guessing dahil wala siyang transfer case and propeler sa harap, pangatlo yung seats sa 2nd row hindi lumalangitngit. fourth yung steering niya mas magaan and mas solid pag nalulubak. sa akin kasi ramdam ko bawat lubak sa steering wheel. sa speed naman parang pareho lang pero mas pino tumunog makina niya. conclusion ko parang better ang NVH ng 4x2 vs 4x4. feel free to correct my observations. baka may sira na pajero ko, considering 15k kms ago pinalitan ko lahat ng support ko.
