    mtvacs, magkano inabot pa calibrate ng ride mo? may pinalitan ba na parts? tnx bro....

    On my regular trips to the north, my average speed at NLEX & SCTEX is around 120 to 140. I just slow down to 100 whenever I see a suspiciously stalled white pickup.

    My top speed was around 160 I think. I was already really scared then to push it further. lol!

    kung tama alala ko top speed ng gen2 4d56 is nasa 145 to 150
    pero maingay na siya... and nasa 5th gear tapos yung rev mataas na mataas na.. kaya kawawa sasakyan..

    My Gen 2 A/T 2600 Gas haven't trenched 135 above. Besides, mine is a Gas Guzzler.... But I love my "Hound"!!!!

    Hi guys, may konting problema yung FM ko. It happened to me a few weeks ago. I was driving at around 80kph then had to break hard (but not hard enough to lock the brakes) and at the same time I turned the wheel to avoid something and as I turned the wheel my engine died. The engine had no problem starting right away so i ok lang, pero in my mind WTH bakit namatay. A few days later, whiteplains ave. in qc was wide open so I decided to experiment and re-enacted the same scenario. Same result, the engine died again.

    The engine only dies when i turn the wheel while braking hard coming from speed. Sudden braking from 40kph does not result into anything nor does braking hard in a straight line. Come to think of it I've been trying the scenario the last few days but i always turn to the right, I haven't tried braking hard from speed and turning left. Any ideas on what could be the culprit?

    just got new oil filter for 4m40 from carline, oem hanap ko but wala na daw oem japan ngayon, oem na local nalang daw, pati daw casa ganyan na gamit, hindi ko lang maconfirm kung totoo, 1,600 dati yung binibili ko ngayon 950 nalang. mukhang cost cutting na parts natin, sinimulan na sa brake pads akebono na talaga nakatatak sa oem. medyo biased kasi ako sa japan made oem. kahit mahal assured ako na quality.



    chorizo, fuel system siguro yan, since yun lang ang pwede maka shut down ng engine. id first check my fuel filter.

    oliver1013, per the manual ng paj natin, if you will be pulling heavy loads, dapat sa hold yung button and just go on D on flat roads. ang arangkada mo niyan pag tapak mo dahan dahan ang acceleration pero tataas ang rev mo sa una. rgds

    TAZ, P700 pa-calibrate dito sa amin (along mindanao ave near tandang sora). "Mindanao Calibration Center" pangalan. if ur from NOVA going to trinoma, nasa right, after Petron yata. ok dito kasi yun may-ari may pajero din (subic also), pero yun mas malaki sa 4m40 engine, kaya kabisading-kabisado nya mga sasakyan ntin.

    racing jow2, sa akin subic pajero, 4m40 abot 150kph * 4,000rpm. naka-dual aircon pa yun that time kaso buwisit, dahil na-over-rev ang AC compressor that time kaya nagpalit ako tuloy ng 2nd hand compressor. napagastos pa tuloy... lesson na siguro sa lahat na dont open AC pag high-speed. although kaya ng engine kahit 160kph pa siguro, yun AC compressor mao-over rev. mas malaki drive shaft pulley kesa sa AC compressor pulley kaya kung ang engine nasa 4,000rpm, i guess yun AC compressor nsa 5,000rpm na with respect to the diameter ng pulleys.

    Gud day mga Pajero gurus, been a long time seen i''ve read again this thread. Just wanna ask if the pajero 2.8 can sustain 150kph drive at NLEX or SCTEX? And if meron na ba sa inyo nai lusong ang pajero nyo sa THIGH High flood waters?
