i went to Mang Mario just this morning aroung 11 am. Hinanap ko tlga sya at muntik pa me maligaw. This is about aircon of my pajero car, laging nawawalan ng aircon ilang beses ko na pinapagawa, kng ano ano sinasabi ng mga shops, kesyo may tagas, kulang sa freon, tapos sa auxillary fan naman, so pinalitan na ung auxillary fan at ung mga hose pinalitan na din at nagpalagay na me ng new freon, pero after 1 week mawawala ulit ang aircon. So tired na sa ganung situation. So i searched sa net kng saan merong reliable at magaling gumawa ng aircon, kahit may mga negative comments na kay Mang Mar pinuntahan ko kc malapit lng sa place ko. At upon check up sabi ng anak ni Mang Mar na sira na daw compressor nag stuck up na. So he recommended na palitan na of course, i asked him kng pedeng repair na lng sa compressor sabi nya nde na daw pede, palit tlga, tapos ito ang quote price ni Mam Nora, wife ni Mang Mar:

    Surplus compressor + Freon + Oil + Labor = 6,900
    Orig Dryer = 900
    Total = 7,800

So nde ko muna pinagawa kc kulang dala kong pera, actually 5k ng sana budget ko e. Is this a good deal in price na ba? Sabi ni Mam Nora may warranty naman daw sia na 6 mos sa parts nila.

Pls help! kc babalik na me dun ng monday kng ok na tong price nya.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi sirs!
I got my Pajero from Subic
    it's a 1996 Exceed with 2.800 Diesel Engine A/T.

Sirs, since I am a newbie, I humbly ask for your assistance with my Pajero.
It has a lot of problems. Any suggestions would be very very much welcome.

    Problems:
    1. Sunroof leak: Motor not working properly also. Do you know where I can have this fixed po?
    2. Camber misaligned and Matagtag: I think i need to have the shock absorbers and springs changed. Do you know any local surplus shop where I can have it fixed po?
    3. Power steering fluid leak: I am having problems with this every month. I have to put fluid once a month kasi nauubos.
    4. Electricals and Airconditioning: The switches near the headunit for the aircone and other dials like the compass are not working... anyone knows where i can get a cheap/pulido na fix?

THANK YOU THANK YOU in Advance!
    Looking forward po.

hello sir, jdm pajero owner din po ako and same model sa inyo. so sagutin ko mga queries nyo to the best that i can po...

    1. recently ko lang din na-encounter ang problem sa leaking sunroof. what i did, binuksan namin ng erpats ko ang sunroof at nilinis ang passageways niya at yun drain niya. sundot sundot lang naman yun and clogging ang problem nito dahil madumi na. pero as for the motor, i had mine working very fine. baklasin nyo po yun ceiling niya, andun po ang motor at pwede nyo i-check yun

    2. try also checking your ball joints and bushings sir. i had mine replaced 2 months after i acquired my pajero. puro oem ang pinalit ko.

    3. hmmmm, eto din ang isa sa mga problema ko noon. ano ang dahilan? o-ring... yan ang madalas na problema niyan sir. pag nagawa niyo na yan, the last thing to check is the steering gearbox kung may leak na mga oil seals niya

    4. yun compass ko, hindi na working. hindi namin ma-trace kung maling electrical wiring lang o defective talaga. kasi ang ilaw para dun eh hindi rin nagana nung binaklas namin, pero buo pa yun bulb ah. at dun sa aircon, its the climate controller po yun. dapat working yan kasi pag hindi, wala kang aircon. describe nyo nga po sa akin yun problem about that...

    TAZ13,

my suspension is also due for repairs and replacement thus I also did some canvassing. hope this helps you in comparing the prices since your post helped me gauge the pricing.

this is from my previous post:

    "fellow tsikoteers,

I recently had my rig's suspension checked (gen2 pajero swb) and since then have had trouble deciding on which course of action to take.

    option 1 (autoshop along regalado)
use replacement parts and replace the worn out parts here is their quote:

    2pcs ball joint upper - 1900
    2pcs ball joint lower - 2200
    4pcs suspension bushings - 2200
    2pcs suspension bushings lower - 1600
    2 sets wheel bearings - 2400

    labor for balljoint - 1700
    labor for bushings - 1500
labor for wheel bearings - 1000
wheel alignment and camber adjustment - 900

    option 2 (cruven)
"inject" or recondition the OEM suspension parts on my rig to brand new specs daw. they quoted the ff:

    4 balljoint (inject) - 2200
    4 Tie rod end (inject) - 1800
    1 pitman arm (inject) - 450
    4 upper suspension bushings (replacement) - 2600
    2 velocity grease - 200
    4 wheel bearing - 3800

labor for front suspension - 1500
labor for press in press out - 400
labor for wheel bearing - 1200
    wheel alignment - 400
cleaning - 100 (should be free as a standard IMO)

so there, with this data please help me decide on which option to go by.

    are this prices reasonable?

and if any of you knows a more affordable way to go through with this please free to chime in.

    TIA"

    20k kms drain refill
    40k kms replace filter.
