1. Buy an air filter.
2. Buy and pa-replace na rin ng this part for my antenna. Basag ang gear
3. Have my rear speakers checked. Hindi kasi tumutunog. Pa-replace pag sira na.
4. Pag my time pa, pa PDR ko na rin ito;
Saan ba pwede makabili ng parts sabay pagawa na for 1,2, & 3 na reasonable ang price? Kung pwede din, sabay na pdr para isang gawaan na lang? Yung bump kasi malapit na dun sa location ng antenna baka pwede na pasabay. What time ba open mga shops dun?

testament, sabi saakin iba daw ang tranny ng jdm, toyota daw ang kinabit. dunno lang if its true. post ka pic ng tranny mo pag naangat compare ko saakin.
usually sa steering components, brake lines and aircon piping ang binabago. dahil sa conversion.

o sige pb, no problem! kahit sumuot nalang ako sa ilalim one time para makuhaan ko ng picture. basta eto ang noteable difference... steering gearbox ninyo is mitsubishi pa rin, kung hindi ako nagkakamali. sa akin, mando ang gearbox. then yun, aircon lines ang 1 sa sinasabi na binago din from conversion. brake lines, hindi ko lang alam

March 24th, 2009 10:27 PM #3405Wow! hahahaha salamt sir testament, promdiboy, and badsekktor, didn't expect a lot of people to reply in such short time. Did learn a lot, napagaan niyo na loob ko and the doubts has resided, mukang mapapa FM na nga ako, sana lang di pa ko naunahan.
May mga few follow up questions lang din po ako after reading all your answers,
1. All of you mentioned na mura nga yung parts with oem and replacement choices, what about the turbo system itself? I still dont know how the system specifically works, kaya natatakot ako kung panu pag nasira to? mura din ba pyesa neto? and may maintenance din ba na susundin? plus panu mo malalaman na sira na yung turbo?
2.sir promdi you mentioned in your reply to question no.6 na spend ng 25k to 35k for suspension parts. what if pati engine may mga papalitan ako, tingin ko air filter, engine oil, injector nozzle tip, glow plugs ba yun?(parang spark plug daw hehe), water pump, tensioner bearing, oil and fuel filter, water pump, mga magkanu kaya aabutin lahat? para lang maihanda ko na sarili ko.
3. lastly mukang madami din kayo kilala na reputable talyer ng pajero, could you share some and their specialty? location ko pala d2 sa caloocan, so pag south area malayo na. pati kung saan may compression test, di pa kasi ako nakapag ganoon eh, engine pinaka important kasi sakin, ayaw ko ng smoke belcher hehe go green as much as possible hehe.
4. dagdag pa pala, anu meron sa mga newer models na FM? may nadagdag bang mga features and function? same engine parin?

uy, nakakataba naman ng puso yan sir bisita! well to answer your follow up questions, eto na...
1. for me, turbo system, eh parang kagaya din yan sa kotse. not much difference. yun lang, eh hindi ako maalam sa ganito. pasensya, hanggang dyan lang ang masasagot ko. pero siguro, wala naman masama kung susundin mo yung cool down method pag ginamit mo ang 1 turbocharged engine.
2. nakalimutan ko dagdag, gumastos kami ng almost 17k para sa suspension parts. may post ako sa previous pages regarding sa ginawa ko. actually, ang maintenance ng diesel engine, compared sa gasoline, in my opinion is much cheaper. like glow plugs, hindi naman yan basta pinapalitan. ang air filter, same din, so as with fuel filter. also take note, timing chain and gear ang 4m40 engine, so hindi yan agad agad pinapalitan. ang water pump, depende naman yan eh. engine oil, use 15w40 na oil, the commonly used oil sa diesel engines. oil capacity ng engine ng pajero, 6.5 liters lahat lahat. go for fully synthetic kung kaya ng budget mo. as for me, naka royal purple ako na engine oil, just search for the royal purple oil thread. pag naka synthetic ka, usually change oil mo every year, or every 10k kilometers.
3. i personally recommend speedyfix. dyan ako last nagpachange oil at satisfied ako sa service nila. compression test, calibration, sa central diesel. again, search for the thread regarding these problems.
to tell you, kaakibat na ng diesel engines ang usok. ang magagawa mo lang eh ma-minimize mo ang usok. kagaya nalang ng sa amin ni sir pb, walang kausok usok ang mga makina namin. gawa yan ng scheduled maintenance at pagpractice nito religiously.
go for the fm na bro, hindi ka magsisis sa pagbili nito. remember, pag may pajero ka, sikat ka! hehehe... sana makatulong sa yo ang mga sagot ko. andyan lang naman kami para sa mga tanong at concerns mo regarding pajero issues.

bisita, marami lang talaga dito happy sa pajero, masaya din kami pag nakakatulong,
nagsimula din kami na walang alam, but dahan dahan madali matutunan, very simple lang kasi ang pajero which is one of its strong points, madali paayos sa suking mekaniko.
1. turbo, wala pa naman naka experience na nagpalit ng turbo dito. may repair kit naman ang turbo, hindi lang ako sure kung magkano paayos. sa central diesel clinic alam ko nagaayos sila. to check turbo visualy look for oil leaks sa turbo area, pwede rin mausok siya while nasa highway ka doing 100kph. and no power above 2krpm. dapat may hatak parin above that range. boost gauge lang kasi ang way matest talaga but kailangan mo pa pakabit.
2. yung mga parts na yan may mga signs naman bago papalitan, hindi yan kasama sa PMS. read for the signs na napost ng mga members. like hard starting, namamatay at idle, or kalampag sa ilalim

yun! kelangan ko ng gauges para sa pajero ko! papalitan ko yung 3 navigation gauges ng voltmeter, ammeter, at tubro boost gauge! kung pwede 4, isama na ang oil pressure gauge. hmmm... may nakapag costumize na ba ng ganun sa inyo, palitan yung 3 navigation gauges?

Share ko sayo one time while going to a fish pond area somewhere in leyte, leyte na misjudge ko yung kapal and tigas ng putik going in the area kala ko matigas yun pala ang lambot umabot halos sa step board yung putik almost half ng gulong the worst part is after mga 300 meters napansin naming na putol pala yung bridge kaya nag backing pako in that mud muntik pa mahulog sa pond yung auto hehehe pero kayang kaya ng pajero. Only the aux fan sa ilalim ng aircon ang na damage hindi ko kasi nabanlawan agad tingin ko natuyuan ng putik.
repair kit lang. car care nut says, for toyotas, he recommends entire assembly replacement for...
