    Toyota Altis - ~150 mm

None of these cars have ground clearance that's even comparable to the gen 1 CR-V.
*jut703: thank you very much for your prompt response. indeed, nothing compares to the gen1 crv, but since i am leaning towards the sedan family, i am willing to take this trade-off, besides this will be more of my daily drive if ever.

BTT, so based on above data, it proves na mas lamang ng konti ang ground clearance ng EX 1.6, sounds good.

Take note that the 15mm difference is less than 1 inch. 165 or 150, kakaskas pa rin yan sa mga lubak.

Over naman yun kakaskas sa mga lubak.
Anong lubak naman plano mo daanan?

Iba talaga ground clearance ng SUV at kotse. Even if an SUV is an old model, its gonna be higher than a sedan.

LOL. noted *jut703, at any rate di ko naman siguro ipipilit if ever yun kotse sa mga malalalim na lubak. kahit nga yun CRV iniiwas ko pa rin talaga hanggat maari..
for me, the EX having the slightest difference in ground clearance among its class, already provides peace of mind. yung pinsan ko nga regular naman niya gamit isabela-manila yung corolla ae101.

Yes, it was more like a detuned Evolution X pero halos near na yung price. People bought the Evolution X. It was like the WRX to the WRX STi but it was way more expensive than the WRX.

Mukha sigurong GTA kaya hindi napansin.
Or baka ginawa nang Evo look. Hehe.

    Madami details dito.

Mahal nga at 2.3M sa 2012.

Maganda kung na maintain na stock GTA look.
    Okay na sleeper car.

Possible wala sa 2nd hand market dahil keeper siya?

The Lancer GTA has the looks but its 4B11 engine is not so impressive. The ASX has the same engine and tranny as the Lancer GT-A. The 2.0L engine may be rated at around a peak power of 150hp but Mitsu’s CVT is not as responsive as Subaru or Honda. There’s hesitation when you want power - that droning response before the engine getting alive past 4K rpm.

The Evolution X is a totally different car.

Actually even the Evo X was a step down from the VII/VIII/IX. I remember buying the Best Motoring video of its launch, pucha puro talo! The Super Taikyu X was a full second slower than the IX it replaced.

Even today look at the Tsukuba and World Time Attack series. The VII/VIII/IX is still regularly competing for overall wins despite aero improvements pushing RWD cars to the top, but you hardly ever see an Evo X, let alone one that's competitive in the top class.
