I also own a truck just like yours..93 model nga lang and i got it from my dad na naka kuha na ng bagong truck niya ngayon.

It's almost 2014. My L200 will turn 17 years old. Still my reliable truck for many more years to come.

Hello guys..

This is my Company Car I'm working as a Sales ( Isang sikat na tire manufacturer ).. Late Model ng box type Mitsubishi L200, i am seeing that this is a 1998 model but sa CR niya is 1997 siya.. It only consume at 7-8Kms/L City Driving and 8-11Kms/L Highway driving... I'm using Michelin 195R14 Tires at 30PSI

What I can say is, reliable siya talaga seeing that it's odometer is at 550,300+ Kms as of posting and running pa.. I acquired this at 530,000Kms last September 2014... sa ilang months pa lang na ginagamit ko ito, marami na ding sira since everyday i'm travelling and ticking my odometer at 100-150kms/day at kada out of town almost 1200Kms Odo Reading for 4 Days.......ang palagi kong problema sa L200 na ito is Overheating, Clutch, belts, Aircon, and maraming oil leaks.... electricals,....

mukhang tinanggal yung thermostat nyan...bili ka ng TAMA brand less than P500 lang yun. nasa less P1k kung casa ka bumili. it will probably solve your overheating issue at black smoke even when hot at acceleration.

it will also indirectly solve your leak issues sa head gasket dahil kung may thermostat e steady ang operating temperatures. hindi masyado magloloose ang head bolts dahil sa extreme difference sa operating temperatures (if without thermostat). hot and cold cycles will undo your headbolts in time. kung may thermostat, steady ang tension ng head bolts.

regarding oil leaks, either the head gasket, valve cover gasket, semi-circular rubber packing (sa likod ng cylinder head ito), rear engine oil seal or transmission front oil seal.

tapos use 2T sa diesel fuel. helps lessen vibration and smoke. ratio is 200 diesel:1 liter 2T.
