and despite all the hate Hks blow offs get from evolutionm.net....... mine works great and is a lot of fun... annoys and scares other motorists tho

btw, have your car tuned sa autoplus! mine is already 310 whp sa dynojet hehe...

well im a big evo fan pero pag dating sa tunog ng bov i think subie win the match hands down it sounds more masculine kaysa sa evo masyado tahimik ang evo unlike compare sa subie well di talaga design sa evo and vta sa mga evo dont know about the subie thou well dont really need a aftermarket bov if you are still under 350 hp kasi it can still handle it maybe an up pipe will help so anong subie drive mo sti ba

yes sa evo meron power loss lalo na pag low speeds it flutters pag vta unless it has custom tune thats just by experience dont take my word for it

my experience with my BOV is 100% pleasant. The only time it flutters is when you hesitantly step on the gas (pag may biglang tumawid for example at sobrang light pa lang tapak mo sa gas).... Of course power loss can't be judged with our butt dyno.... Autoplus' tuner doesn't seem to have a problem with it and I was making 290 whp without tune..... just the Hks add ons and an 02 housing.


btw, one thing I envy about the Subbies is the Engine sound. It's something that can't be reproduced on an evo.

pero sa Subbies laki ng leak at power loss talaga kaya walang nagtatagal na BOV sa amin sa Club.

sarap nga tumunog ng Boxer Engine, lalo with Espelir or Blitz Nur Exhaust. btw, HKS Silent Power lang gamit ko, ayaw ni misis ng ingay.

Autoplus nga yata best hub for Evos, though some of us don din nagpapatono.. And yan ang nakakinggit sa Evos, they respond better to mods than Subbies. that 290whp of BD on a Subbie is impossible with those mods, the best that you could get is 275whp lang. Pero you really need to retune lang talaga or else mag-CEL ka, right?

btw my ride is an 07 WRX...can't afford the STI that time so i settled with it na muna, coz by the time na afford ko na, ala ng 07 model. i have big plans for it. right now it can beat an stock STI/Evo na. just waiting for my new Turbo(bigger than STI),TMIC, Fuel Pump and few more to arrive then remap.
ewan ko kung ano magiging resulta non.

btw, how often do you go to track/s?

nice nice nice, well anong turbo ang kukunin mo anong size? so post naman kayo ng pics ng engine bay niyo ako baka this week ill post it. ala pa me balak mag upgrade ng turbo im hapy with my fp green cheap and almost stock wala masyado lag so ano naman ang mods mo sa subie mo. well 0 miles pa iyong akin sa actual track pero a lot of miles sa zig zag sa tagay tay a lot of spirited driving but havent tried my new suspension set up

Sir yuichi nahirapan ako maghanap ng slightly used na stock evo9 or maybe I just did not go to the right places. The evo9's I found were priced on the high side plus I did not like red. Wala rin update regarding the bmw 135i. Parang hindi ko naman makasanayan mukha ng X so punta na lang ako ng EDSA at nagreserve ng sti kahapon baka months end daw pag may mag back out. Magkamukha na sila pag magkatabi :insomnia:

Imgabi, for now bukod sa dropin filter, ala pa naman engine mods ako. btw, buti nga Evo kahit yata 500WHP kaya nung stock Turbo, sa STI kasi mas maliit kaya 400whp lang daw kaya....ok sa low-mid rpms while mahina pa sa top end, Evo naman lakas dumulo.

500 whp hehehe too much iyon di kaya maybe 345 lang sa stock turbo maybe iyong 20 g turbo tulad ng sa akin kasing size ng stock mas madami lang compressor wheel pero max out na iyon using race gas pa and definetly bigger injector and really aggresive tune pero still i think imposible pa rin iyong 500 whp maybe using 35r would do the job maybe 600 with that kind of turbo and supporting mods mahirap na i drive iyon pang araw araw sa subies naman yes i noticed that na mahirap mag upgrade kasi siguro boxer engine masyadong un orthodox pero still i like the way they sound

i see, truth-stretching na pala yun. i think sa Subbie, 320whp sa stock Turbo is max na rin. few of us who are getting 330-420whp palit na to bigger Turbos.

i'm not sure if because of the Boxer Engine, but what i hear is definitely, Mitsu parts are a bit easier to find and cheaper. madali pang kalikutin yung Engine bay at mas maluwang to give space to other mods.
