Hi, Im not sure if you guys experienced this but when im driving at low gears 1,2,3 my rpm goes up as high a 3000.
Normally when I drive on first gear my rpm stays at 2000 rpm and that would be 0-40 kph, 2nd gear is 40-60 still on 2000 rpm.
But now going to 0-40 kph on first gear takes me right up to 3000 rpm . Any of you guys experienced this or is this just normal ? TIA

you can try resetting your ecu

manual trans? then it's entirely up to you on when you want to shift, not the ecu or the engine or the trans.
siguro napaka-tahimik ng makina, mahirap tanchahin.. i had the same problem when i shifted from VW to sentra.. i was doing 60 to 80 on second gear because the sound and vibration cues weren't there..
