Check freon level. Input from the pressure switch is one of the requirements for fan and compressor activation. It won't send out a signal if the freon is not at the correct pressure.

Check the pressure switch na rin baka maluwag lang ang wires. Nasa taas lang kasi yon easy to get hit accidentally.

Check din the wires going to the compressor. One time while going through Mandaluyong swimming pool my aircon stopped working. Had it checked and the culprit was a loose wire that got hit by the water and natanggal. Onting solder lang solb.

Correct si sir JohnM. Tha'ts the simpliest and basics to troubleshoot your aircon. di naman kasi basta basta nasisira ang switch nyan or thermostat.

Hi just bought a lancer itlog 97model...... kahapon lang at amaze na amaze ako sa bago kung car....... mapg papatulong sana ako mga sir kasi ung nabili kong car naka free flow pipe ung tambutso nia nasa gitna ng car kaya pag binarorot m8 sakit sa tenga ang abot mo tanong ko lang mga sir kung san recommended mag pagawa ng muffler mandaluyong area po maraming salamat......... tanong ko na din kung san maganda mag pa check ng timing belt at pano malaman kung ok pa ba sya o kelangan ng palitan....... maganda pa manakbo ung car

Good day mga paps. Sorry kung medyo malayo ang topic ko pero about itlog parin naman. Bago lang ako dito sa forum and wala pa ako alam sa mga troubleshooting ng car at maintenance. Actually, I'm planning to buy 92 singkit gti or 93 itlog kasi yun lang kaya ng budget ko. Regular employee lang ako, married with one son at medyo tight pa budget ko. First car ko to kung sakali at plano ko sana ibyahe pauwi ng naga this coming september and december yung car na mabibili ko. Gagamitin ko lang naman ang car kapag maulan pero meron naman ako motor na gagamitin kapag hindi maulan going to office, going to grocery store w/ my wife and son kasi mahirap magmotor lalo na kung marami bitbit na groceries and mostly long holidays pag uuwi ng probinsiya. I've been browsing sulit and ayosdito searching for the lucky car. Hingi lang sana ako tips and suggestions sainyo bago ako bumili at kung ano bibilhin ko sa 2 variants. Thanks in advance.

IMHO get an Itlog. Crush ko pa rin si Gti pero medyo luma na sya. Swerte mo if you can get an EL na converted to power steering pero if bihira lang naman gamitin ok lang siguro kahit wala. EL halos walang electronics na masisira. Tuneup lang at onting suspension maintenance solb na.

EL po ba ang gti? kung EL sya, itlog na lang bilhin ko..

May nakita po ako itlog sa sulit just now, mukhang ok pa naman sya. Pakicheck nyo naman po kung maganda pa sya at worth it sa price nya. Eto po yung link.

Nope. Gti is top of the line ng Singkit model. Yan yung naka stock big bumpers with fogs and spoiler. Astig ng porma nyan straight from the casa.

EL is the base model of the Itlog line. 1.3 4g13 carb, MT, pawis steering, no electronics whatsoever.

Sakit kasi ng EFI engines like the GLXI and idle up or servo. Prepare to spend around 8k to replace it kung di pa sya napalitan ng previous owner. Pwede naman mag bypass pero di sya optimal solution.

Problema din dyan ang mga power windows. Hit and miss ang repairs.

The power steering system is another potential issue. Pwedeng may leaks na ang rack, pump, or hoses.

For someone on a tight budget get the model with lesser things to maintain. At that age pare-pareho na silang may sakit.
