LANCER Itlog (93-96) Owners - Please Post Here!

hello guys! i'm just a new member but i've been browsing this forum for a few months na.. do you think i have the same problem as mr3kim? sa akin naman kasi, mahina na tlaga umarangkada..ok naman siya minsan, kaso minsan kapag umoovertake ako, nabibitin ako, and kapag akyatan na sa mga flyovers.. malakas din xang magvibrate minsan kapag naka idle ako..

mag ttwelve years na sa amin ung itlog ko ngayon, and i think never pa naoverhaul un or major repair sa engine, since sa dad ko pa xa dati..kaya i don't know what is best for it..when it comes to fuel consumption, i think at par pa naman sya sa ibang cars with the same age..kapag unleaded kinarga ko, mga 7-8 km/liter..pero i run on vpower para mas malakas hatak sa akin and tumatakbo ng 9-10km/liter on city driving...

and oo nga, nag uunderchasis din ba si mang roman? kung saan saan ko na pinagawa underchasis ko pero wlang makasolve..

Guys.. i just went to the shop of mang roman last weekend..my car spent almost three days in the shop for fixing an oil leak on my engine...pinasabay ko na rin patignan kung bakit low power or wala masyadong hatak car ko.. it turned out that mali pala ung kabit ng "spacer" ba un sa may pulley ng timing belt, and also yung sprocket dun sa crankshaft deformed na kaya tumatalon ng isa or dalawang ngipin ung timing belt.. anyway, i'm still observing my car and hopefully, ok naman since mula nung ginamit ko, kahit malamig ung makina, tumatakbo na, compared before..

And, the great part is, i had the same trouble estimated by pronto, just along west service road between sucat and alabang..they quoted me for almost 30k for the repair of the leaks and the timing belt package..good thing i consulted mang roman.. pati leak sa bypass hose ng radiator ko ginawan ng paraan ni richard, yung brother ni mang roman.. total bill ko is just 5,400... wheew...almost, 1/6 of the price quoted by pronto.. and genuine parts pa ung pinalit sa akin, except for the sprocket which is surplus nga lang..

One last thing, just want to repeat from an earlier post that , we can coordinate with RICHARD 09212474805, brother of mang roman.. usually si richard na ung tumitira, pero si mang roman pa rin ung in charge sa shop and nag ddiagnose ng problems.. yup, just a personal and understandable reason naman for mang roman..so kindly course through your inquiries regarding your itlogs/mitsus to richard.. had a 96 gli itlog...pogi...pero di cguro sing gwapo oto nyo sir...post mu nman pra ma view nmin ng fellow itlogers...hehehe

Ask ko lang po..gaano ba kadalas ang maintenance check ng timing belt?
Ano ba madalas cause ng pagkaputol ng timing belt.

Replace it every 40k to 50k kms with original Mits. timing belt. Dont use branded or other low quality belts. Be sure also na new stock ung belt (naka-print sa belt itself ung manufacturing date).

hey guys.ask ko lang po kung ano problema ng itlog ko.Kakapalit ko lang ng bagong servo kit.17k bili ko sa mitsubishi.mahal na nga pero d nkuha ung sakit nya.pag in on ko ung A/C bumababa ung rpm nya imbis na umakyak tpos ngvivibrate dhil sa low rpm nya.tsaka hirap na hirap sya pag umarangkada pag naka on A/C nya.frustrated na talaga ako.kahit mekaniko ng mitsu handi nya madiagnose kung ano problema nya.Advise naman mga itlogers.thnx

mga kaitlogs hi sa inyo.just bought a lancer itlog last 2 years.its my first car and i worked hard for it.pro after a few month nanotice ko na umaarte yung idling ko lalo na pag naka on yung A/C.walang arangkada tsaka bumababa rpm nya imbis na umakyat.nagresearch ako sa internet at nakita ko tong forum na to.nabasa ko palagi na servo kit ang dpat palitan.so just last week i went to iloilo mitsu to have them have a look at my itlog.nagpapalit ako ng servo assembly.17k nagastos ko pero ganun pa rin.prang iiyak na talaga ako nun dahil matagaltagal ko na ring pinagipunan yun.pagkatpos sbi ng mekaniko bka sa fuel filter.pinalitan na rin namin pro ganun pa rin.nilinis fuel injecors ganun pa ri.frustrated na talaga ako.baka may maadvice kayo sa akn.please lang.tia
