What Coupe are you looking at? The Base model is only 1.4m.
Hyundai Philippines | Price List
Besides: Are you buying toys, or are you buying a car? Sunroof, you can't add, but that's not a big deal.
Foglamps, spoiler, skirts... how much will that cost you? An extra 50-60k pesos. No big deal.
If you really want the car and can actually afford to insure, register and maintain a 1m plus vehicle, go ahead and get it.
If you're worried about the cost of the Genesis, why are you even considering it, in the first place? Go buy a Mirage, and you're done.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Isn't it like comparing apples to oranges? A Genesis Coupe vs Lancer EX GTA.
The GTA is a sporty looking four door sedan with 2.0L normally aspirated engine and FWD. A practical car with some performance potential but not something to match a true sports-car. Gives average to good fuel economy. Another car to consider (that matches the GTA) is the Focus 2.0L HB. You can also consider the Subaru Impreza 2.0L (hatch or sedan) as well.
The Genesis Coupe is a true two door sports-car with ita 2.0L turbocharged engine & RWD (for the base models). Great performance on and off the race track. Affordable performance for those who are looking for that something extra in their daily driving. If you like this car, you can also consider the Toyota GT86 and it's Subaru variant (coming in later this year).
If you can afford typical fuel consumption in the range of 4 to 5km/L ... then owning the GC will not be an issue.
Just be careful when you drive a RWD car. It does not handle in the same forgiving way as the more common FWD. If you don't have any experience in driving a RWD near it's performance limits, I suggest enrolling yourself in a racing school to safely gain experience & knowledge how to safely handle it.
