Not sure what happened pero ang rule of the thumb pag first 1K and 5K e must sa CASA ang maintenance.

rule of the thumb is that you need to go to CASA till 3 yrs or 5yrs whatever is applicable sa warranty ng vehicle mo to ensure na ma avail mo yung warranty.

then after the warranty period you can maintain your vehicle outside sa CASA kung gusto mong makatipid.

Don’t worry too much dude, no need to feel as such. No biggies about it, I’m pretty sure that your warranty will not be void. From what I knew, the thing that voids warranty is like when you put an extra part. Say you decided to put a fog lamp that is not original and something went wrong with your electrical wiring, then your warranty will be void. Warranty for electrical and not the whole car warranty. Just make sure that you’ll have it scheduled at any Mitsubishi authorized Casa on your 5k PMS. There is no need for you to tell them that you had it done at Total Gas Station.

But if you really want to erase any doubt in your mind, have it done again your “second” first 1,000 Km check up (What did I say?? second first 1K PMSJ). You’re in Dubai there is so much oil in there, just send it here J

Your GLX unit should be 2010 model since usually, units which were sold on the last few months of the current year are always the following year model. Though you got your GLX last January but if it is 2009 Model, by the time you decide to sell it, buyer will look at it and price it as 2009 model, if that is what on your OR/CR.

It took more than 5 months for your plate number, go back to your SA and tell her/him to change their dealer name from Citimotors Otis to Citimotors Ohtiis.

If you decide to change the father in law, I suggest that you keep the wife as souvenir.

Cheers

Lancer GLX (9th Generation)
Pyrenees Black
Delivery Date: May 24, 2010
Current Odo Reading: 685 Km
Dealer: Motor Plaza, Quezon City
I got my Plate Number last June 07, 2010

IMHO, not that impressive unit, but very good solid value for the money. With its price, you can’t find the GLX specs with other brands of the same trim level. If I had my way, I would have bought the Ford Focus 4 - Door Sedan (779K Only). But my father in-law’s daughter won the argument.

If by chance I can change the father in law, I’ll keep his grand children for souvenir and trade her daughter with a Hyundai Tucson. J

Enjoy your new ride, the next time you come back here.

Cheers
