June 17th, 2010 08:36 AM #863question po.. may autolock feature ba yung lancer natin? yung tipong pag sinara mo yung pinto eh after a while eh mag lock sya ng kusa... yung alarm lang kasi nag eengage sakin after some time na nakasara lahat ng pinto...

Auto lock... yes, in the sense meron. While there are open doors, press the lock button once then Lancer will chirp once. Lancer will then wait and as soon as the last door closes, it will automatically engage the alarm and lock the doors.
(I've tried that method several times, and it sometimes end up engaging the alarm).
If the 30-second auto-lock timer does not lock the doors, have it checked by your casa.

hmm... alam ko feature talaga yun na alarm muna mag-engage pag nag-auto-lock after 30 seconds... maraming beses ko na kasi naiwan yung susi sa loob hehehe, at nakakatulong yun sakin.
also, you're saying that it only chirps once after 30 seconds, dapat yun dalawa. kung gusto mo ma-check kung naka-lock, better press the lock button twice in succession. pag ganyan, low-sensitivity yung alarm, pero for sure naka-lock na.

twice naman yung chirp nya bro kaya alam kong nag engage na yung alarm... yun nga lang di kasama yung lock.. i have to press pa the lock button ng alarm para mag engage yung lock...
so what you're saying is yung alarm lang talaga nag eengage after 30secs? di talaga magengage automatically yung auto lock unless i press the lock button ng alarm?

ganun before yung module settings ng lancer ko, you need to press the remote to trigger the alarm and auto lock...
helpful siya if you left your keys inside..
even if you wait for about a minute, it will not auto lock..
you need to press the remote lock to secure the car...
i thinks it's normal for the lancer bro, we have the same experience..
but sadly i need to replace my module cause of the defect ...
now, i dont have to worry, after 30 secs, it will autolock..

hmm... now this is getting interesting. Heto mga alam kong scenario bro:
1. If you just leave the car alone, it's only the alarm that engages. (from what I experienced, but I'll check it later at the parking area, because I don't hear the door locks, when I just leave it alone).
2. Pressing the lock button once activates both the alarm and the lock.
3. Lock button twice - switches the alarm to low-sensitivity and the lock.
I'll be able to give the test results later, it's currently 32 degrees C outside... sakit sa ulo eh. hehe.
---> Nismo26, I'll try to put it on video bro. Hehe. Those manuals just don't tell us everything we need to know...
