i've been thinking about it after I took in my Lancer for its 5k PMS this morning (at mitsu dasma).

Noong 1k PMS ko, umabot ng 2,300 Pesos * Citimotors Makati.
Ngayon 5k PMS, nasa 1,500 Pesos lang at Mitsu Dasma.

Ano yan iba mga rates per service centers? Hehe. I just don't see any difference sa 1k at 5k PMS.

I'm about to find out the difference later today by comparing the receipts from the two service centers.

Anyone had the same experience?

Done with 1k and 5k PMS though same casa. Price is almost the same with yours. Probably, nag fullly synthtetic ka during 1k and hindi na nagchangeoil during 5k.

question on 1k checkup: though medyo matagal tagal pa ito sa akin... pero pde ba mineral oil muna ang ipalagay? kasi naisip ko kun babalik din after 5k, dun na ako magfullysythentic.

pwede naman. Yung akin kasi, di naman pinalitan nung 5k kasi sa 10k na ulit ang change oil ko. Mas matipid din kasi kung fully synthethic in the long run.

Nope, I chose mineral oil from the start, and change oil din ako nung 5k. sa 10k na ako mag-synthetic, kasi diba in-e-encourage yung wear-out sa makina at its early life.

Na-compare ko yung mga reciepts pag-uwi ko from office...
Noong 1k PMS, may engine treatment at kung ano anong dagdag (and may emission test pa, hindi ba Euro2 compliant ang setup ng Lancer hehe). Kaya pala iba. Sabi nung SA ko sa Mitsu dasma, hindi naman daw necessary yung engine treatment.

10k PMS soon, going for full synthetic na. Nag-taas na sila ng price. Nasa 6500++ range na yung 10k PMS using full synthetic, kasi palit spark plugs na.

bro,
yung sakin regular oil lang ginamit sa 1st change oil. MIT OIL ginamit nila, kahit hindi pa naman synthetic gamitin natin kc brand new naman tsikot natin.

+ 1 ako dito. Just got my new Lancer 1.6 GLX last March 15 (after months of saving, research and considering other cars). So far no regrets, I'm loving it Malapit na din ako mag pa 1K PMS nasa 900 + na odometer ko.

After all the hassle with Union Motors Paco last week, I got my unit last night with Diamond Motors Ortigas! finally, goodbye sa nakaka-stress na experience sa Union Motor.. kelangan ko na lang makuha un refund ko sa kanila..wag naman sana mastress sa pagclaim ko ng refund sa reservation ko.

Congrats po! Kung alam ko lang na sa union ka kumuha, I should have warned you by then. May kasabay kasi ako bumili ng car, ako, nung bayaran na (sa diamond marcos hway), nakuha ko na yung lancer ko. Yung kasabay ko na bumili sa union motors makati, 2 weeks pa daw. Nung tumawag ako sa SA ko, meron pa available. Kaya ayun... Lipat yung kasabay ko sa diamond and pagkakuha ng PO, ok na yung car nya.
