advise lang, wag ka muna magpakabit ng accessories such as this, lalo na kung hindi sa casa kasi most probably mavovoid warranty. sayang naman yong 3 years. kung gusto mo talaga magpalagay ng side skirt, i suggest 1) sa casa ka magpagawa or magpakabit (i'm not sure kung magkakabit sila ng sa iba mo binili yong accessory), or 2) get a written document from casa saying that the anti-rust warranty won't be voided pag nagpakabit ka nito sa labas (i doubt though if they will give it).

March 16th, 2010 09:37 AM #472ill be upgrading my ride and my top choice is the mitsubishi lancer glx. i am hoping if anyone can give me an unbiased review on the following features of this car if compared to any sedan with similar specs.
*Fuel Consumption
* Performance (like engine performance; when shifting gears; power steering performance)
* Maintenance Cost (if parts are more expensive that others, etc)
TIA

March 16th, 2010 03:23 PM #473*Fuel Consumption - 8.5 to 11km/ltr for city. Ok to for a 1.6
- Altis, almost the same.
- Mazda3, 8.5 na ata ang highest na makukuha
* Performance (like engine performance; when shifting gears; power steering performance) - *110hp, medyo mababa kumpara sa altis (120) at mataas kumpara sa mazda3 (105)
- Shifting gears, um... ok lang.. close ratio kaya mabilis ang acceleration but lacks top speed (ako, 165 km/h * 4500rpm 5th gear)
* Maintenance Cost (if parts are more expensive that others, etc)
-PMS and parts, almost same with toyota (mas mahal lang by tens or hundreds ang mitsu)
- Definitely mas mura ang parts kesa sa mazda.
Others:
Looks, medyo napaglumaan na pero nakakahabol pa naman. in looks, altis-lancer-mazda3
suspension - for a sporty feel, lancer - altis - mazda3. Medyo mabigat ang mazda3.
brakes - 4 wheel disc ang 3 at lancer. altis J, front disk and rear drum.
Price -
altis 1.6 j = 784k
mazda3 S = 850k
lancer 1.6 glx = 680k (meron pa ata discount)
well, 100k is 100k. Pwede mo gamitin for maintenance.

my dad had a 2009 glx, my comment to this car is the engine sounds bad even * idle mode (the mitsu mechanics said its tunog lata), the interior is too plastic-ky, especially the 1 on the gear shift lever, the HU mounting is like a cheap carton. maybe because its thailand made? no offense guys, im a mitsu lover, had mitsu all my life, from itlog to pizza.

guys,
i've been thinking about it after I took in my Lancer for its 5k PMS this morning (at mitsu dasma).
Noong 1k PMS ko, umabot ng 2,300 Pesos * Citimotors Makati.
Ngayon 5k PMS, nasa 1,500 Pesos lang at Mitsu Dasma.
Ano yan iba mga rates per service centers? Hehe. I just don't see any difference sa 1k at 5k PMS.
I'm about to find out the difference later today by comparing the receipts from the two service centers.
Anyone had the same experience?
