i totally agree with this. With full load capacity, mas makakatipid ang 1.6 dahil hindi hirap ang makina to accelerate. Also, depende din to kung san ang route mo. Kung puro patag lng ang daan mo, pwede ka sa dalawa. Pero kung mdyo hilly ang dadaanan mo, (like me, taga-bundok sa rizal) mas maganda kung mas malaking ang makina.

Here's the update. Pinasok ko car sa Casa. They checked w/ their diagnostic computer,to check if the car throws error codes. No errors are found.
I told them to clean the spark plugs and clean the air intake. They did as told, no more problems w/ the car.
Turns out the first load of E10 makes your spark plugs dirty, since kakapalit ko lng ng spark plug due to PMS, hence the firing issues.
They also showed me the Mitsubishi memo that all non Carb engines can load E10. So pwede mag E10, but make sure that its a new car, else you have to clean your spark plugs after.
Car ko kasi since 2004 pa. Eh syempre dami nang dumi sa fuel lines nun.

After this, no more E10 for me though. Hassle e. Buti na lng under warranty yun car because of PMS. Didn't pay anything.

I agree too . I pass through the carmona zig-zag everyday and uphill is a breeze. medyo control lang sa rpm sa gls pag paakyat talaga.

Mga parekoy.....wala ba kayong napapasansin sa mga Lancer ninyo na medyo matigas ang steering wheel, well kapag tumatakbo ka ok lang malabot....magaang hawakan ang steering.... pero kapag naka tigil ka.. medyo matigas compare noong bagong bili. Ano kaya ang problema doon?

My agent and the crew at citimotors advised me to stay away from E10, so I've been using XCS since day 1. Are you on CVT? Try mo gawin ung reset procedure para ma-refresh ung memory nung lancer para sa shifting pattern, or better yet, check up na sa casa bro.

Sir lherma1988, I may have exaggerated the word 'reset procedure', but here's what I know:

From the manual:
"To restore smooth shifting, apply the parking brake, hold the brake pedal, and move the selector lever between the N, D & R positions a few times."

From what I know:
Removing the battery, resets everything.

guys ask ko lang ung wheel alignment ba is not covered by warranty kahit nasa 6k kilometers pa lang? I just went to amcar early this morning sabi nila hindi na daw covered and I have to pay 1500 for alignment, kasi yesterday I was travelling at 120kph and napansin ko may kabig sa kaliwa sabi naman ng casa kapag 60 to 80kph and walang kabig normal daw yun 80kph and up nagka2ron daw talaga ng kabig.. so test drive ko 60 to 80 ala talaga kabig pero more 100kph may kabig talaga dati naman wala akong maramdaman I even went for 140kph smooth pa din and yung tire pressure ko naman is tama, bat kaya ganun?
