I also got Lancer GLS CVT 1.6 but I bought it last year (August 28, 08). Ano ba enhancement ng 2009 compare sa 2008? parang pareho lang naman sila.
Question po, medyo OT. Kasi nung bagyong Ondoy, nilusong ko siya sa baha sa makati, natakot kasi ako na baka tumaas pa yung tubig so instead of just waiting the flood and rain to stop, I just decided to go somewhere na mataas and eventually, I was able to find a carpark inside a building here in makati. Is there any chances ba na napasukan yung makina ng tubig?
Though wala naman ako napapansin kakaiba as of now, Im still worried kasi bka in time magkaproblema ako. Yung tubig nun is almost buong gulong yung inabot. Pero sabi naman sa akin as long as di ka namamatayan ng makina is hindi cya papasukin ng water. Up until now okay naman cya though napaparanoid lang ako siguro kasi mdyo nararamdaman ko na medyo lumakas yung vibration ng car lalo na pag naka-on yung aircon, normal lang po ba yun?
Ano po ba yung way to make sure na walang tubig yung engine? I'm planning na ipachange oil yung kotse. Help naman po sa mga experts dyan. Sobrang maingat pa naman ako sa kotse ko. Thanks.

The Lancer GLX/GLS for 2009 is probably one of the best buys out there for around P700K. Dual airbags, fairly large interior space, INVECS III CVT, alloys, 5-star NHTSA rating for frontal crashes, 60/40 split seating, and 4-wheel disc brakes.
It'll be a mind-boggling decision to pass over the Lancer over, say, a Hyundai Accent or a Kia Rio.
The only things I'd like to see added are ABS and 16 inch wheels.
Mitsubishi can further grab some market share if it decides to ship the Lancer with the smaller 1.5L engine at a lower cost.

Just a few quick questions for all Lancer owners...
1. How much did you get for your car?
2. Any freebies that were given besides the usual LTO and tint?
3. How is fuel consumption so far?

October 22nd, 2009 08:33 PM #258Sakin 90K DP ko but 40K lang cash-out ko kc they took my old lancer (92 clycone worth 50K). Sa freebies the usual tint and mattings lang and siguro yung pamerienda nila while waiting sa casa hehe!
How about yung lancer nyo?

1. Got it only for 675k, nung kalalabas pa lang ng model na 'to at mataas pa yung presyo ng gas. DP ako ng 50% and paid the remaining after 4 months.
2. Seat Cover, Matt, EWD, 3M Tint + 1.5k para tinted buong windshield, Rain visor.
3. Di ako nagmemeasure, pero nung umuwi kmi to Bicol last May, mga 15-17km/liter sa highway, then 10-12 km/liter s city driving

Question po pala. Since my Lancer GLS is more than a year already, okay lang ba ipa-exterior detailing ko siya? May step 1, 2 and 3 yung exterior detailing and it cost 1,700. Dami na kasing light scratches eh, okay lang magpadetailing khit bago pa ang kotse?
Wala kasi akong alam sa kotse, alam ko lang is magdrive.
