After 4yrs and 85 thousand km, binaha si lancer ko, and casa quoted 149,500 petot for the repair..hay.. buti na lang may AOG

Hello Guys,

I owned a 2005 GLS CVT Lancer, but sometimes talaga ang baba ng FC ko dahil cguro sa Traffic in Manila. I'm in 72km na, so guys, meron na ba sa inyo nagpalit ng timing belt? At kung meron san yun maganda, sa banawe ba sa Mega Motion?

mga masters, saan ba pinakamura at reliable na shop na may fiamm horns sa banawe na pde sa lancer natin? how much estimate kasama ang installation?

Sige buhayin na nga! Heheh...

I can comment on the brake pads: The OEM is very good. I haven't changed my pads until now approaching 80,000 kms. I suggest sulitin mo muna yan pre. Aftermarket parts are usually softer than OEM so they tend to wear faster.

85k ang timing belt pre. Malapit na din ako magpalit. Mahal yan kasi may resealing na gagawin (ayon sa El Dorado sa sucat.) I'm planning either casa or El Dorado depending on the quote.

About FC - Our lancer is very bad at heavy traffic (especially CVT at 6-8 km/l) but is very very very good at highway (can reach 14-15 km/l).

Oo nga sir Oglitch.. kakalungkot pero binili na ni insurance.. wala akong masabi sa lancer natin, used and abused yun pero walang bumigay na pyesa, flat tire lang naging problem ko..Lubog hangang glove compartment

thanks sir. hehe.. yep., had my PMS na din (cost me 10k, fully synthetic oil, spark plugs, air filter, and the usual routine), pinakita din saken ung apat na brake pads, makapal na makapal pa (at 20,900km+).. hehe.. no need to change.

had the handbrake adjusted din, mejo tumaas eh., hehe, pinababa ko ulit..

Sir matibay po lancer, sa akin umabot ng 85k Hindi napalitan ng break pad hehe.. alaga ko lang sa synthetic oil atsaka spark plug, after 5k pms sa labas na ako nagpachange oil..-

Help naman kung sino man ang may scanned copy ng owner's manual for Mitsubishi Lancer GLS (2011). Nakabili po kasi ako 2nd hand, unfortunately walang owner's manual
