I replaced after 1 year. You have to check the battery itself if the water level is low. If it is, replace with Distilled Water, and restart engine. Ma-trabaho lang sa pag-checkup ang OEM battery, not to mention it is small.
I currently use Motolite Gold 2SM (personal preference).

August 30th, 2012 07:47 PM #1925wear and tear my foot! pitong taon na yung innova ko.. 13 years na yung sentra.. hindi lumuluwag yung mga handles! substandard assembly yan! nagbabaka-sakali silang maniwala ka! tamad lang sila!
besides, if you look at the manual, tightening of the body bolts is part of PMS (at least in toyota)..
but a good mechanic can easily tighten it. it is tightened from the inside. the hardest part is removing the door siding.. takot lang ako para sa iyo na baka i-void ang warranty kapag iba at hindi sila ang gumawa ng pag-hihigpit..
heh heh..Last edited by dr. d; August 30th, 2012 at 07:50 PM.

August 31st, 2012 01:13 AM #1926Thanks dr. d, agree ako sa reaction mo, same ang reaction ko ng sabihin sa akin ng brother ko yung reasoning ng dmm marcos highway. And nung sinubukan daw nila higpitan eh hindi na daw pede and they were saying na 10k daw aabutin kapag papalitan. Then nagtry yung brother ko sa ibang branch ng dmm ganon din ang sagot sa kanya. Until I asked my brother na makipagmatigasan na sa warranty engineer sa dmm marcos highway but to no success. So instead of taking there suggestion pinagawa na lang sa iba and naayos naman.
Thanks again mga sir sa inputs. That incident will be a big lesson for me, and for sure kapag nagkaroon ulit ako ng chance na bumili ng sasakyan sa mitsubishi I will ask first the question na kapag lumuwag ang door handles eh under warranty, kapag sinabi hindi alis sa dealer and look for another brand.
Thanks a lot ulit mgs sirs.

I'm just dropping a note that - I changed my aircon/power steering belt at 56,000 kms. The OEM belt has signs of shiny metal like bits in-between the ridges (inner part of the belt). Nag-iingay na siya kahit warm start.
Mag-rerequest na din ako sana sa inyo mga sir.
1. Open the hood
2. Reaching through the driver-side window, turn the steering wheel to the right and to the left at intervals.
3. Please tell me if the power steering hose coming from the top is moving or reacting for every move that you make with the steering wheel.
I'm not sure if the hose should move everytime + a hissing sound.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Mga Sir tanong ko lang. Kasi in a weeks time, dadalhin ko yung lancer ko sa casa for the 50k check up. 4 years na yung car ko so out of warranty na siya, ask ko lang if may bayad na ba pag ipacheck ko yung mga onting sira ng kotse ko? like yung car cigarette lighter socket na nagloose, yung windshield washer sprayer na barado at yung isa naman eh lagpas sa windshield yung tama, at yung pundido na maliit na ilaw sa headlight (di ko alam tawag nun)? I know na may bayad pag pinalitan yung mga yun, pero yung labor ba may bayad din? And okay ba ang service sa Diamond Motors C5? Kasi di ko talaga gusto yung service sa Marcos Hiway based from my experience.
Thanks in advance.

October 4th, 2012 01:29 PM #1929Every move the casa makes for you. May bayad. EVEN if you made the PMS before your warranty expires.
For the Cigarette lighter, and the peanut bulb in the headlight, suggest you go to an accessories store, mas mura dun. Evangelista, Banawe, marami jan parts.
Windshield washer na barado, take a pin or paperclip na maliit, saksak mo sa butas ng washer then take out all the gunk by spraying the windshield again. Adjust mo na rin yun nozzle kung lagpas. Bilis lng yun. Gawin mo sa bahay, libre sya.
Just do the bare 50k kms check up in the casa. List down all the parts that needs to be replaced as per your advisor, except the fluids. Then pagawa mo sa labas. Guaranteed at least 50% off sa presyo. Minimal labor fees too.
