mga bossing, question lang. simula kasi kahapon, malakas kasi ulan diba. yun nag start ako ng engine ko, usually yung temperature ko napupunta agad sa gitna pero kahapon first time sya nag start na Cold tapos mga after 5 minutes na tumatakbo saka lang gumitna. okay lang ba yun? kanina kasi ganon din experience ko kaya habang cold engine pang tumatakbo kahit naka brake ako yun Rev ko 1.2 pa din. salamat po sa mga makaka sagot

The engine will try attempt to pump oil much faster than the usual on cold days. This is why you have higher revs. Normal idling rpm is at 800 ata or 750, or should be two notches below 1.

I think that's fine. I get that a lot. since 1-2x a week ko lang ilabas ung lancer ko, (fuel prices and high parking costs in makati).. pero kahit from morning parked then evening leaving from office, I also get cold starts (i usually park inside buildings, away from direct sunlight or rain)..

sabi naman sa manual, as soon as you start the engine, you're ok to drive away seconds after, too much idling is bad.. hehe.. oks lang yan sir. mag normalize naman a few minutes after, reaching the normal running temperature, at the middle, and giving you the correct idle rpm +/- 750rpm..

thank you sa mga sagot bossing. nagtaka lang ako kasi nung first month gitna agad sya kahit 2 days hindi nagamit. anyway, sabi din naman sakin nang mekaniko na kausap ko okay lang daw yun. FC na lang talaga ang problema ko. pero mukang okay yun extreme ng seaoil.nakaka 8 to 9km per liter ako.

keep the rpm under the 2k mark sir, for sure kaya yan 10km/l or better..

Shell = tried VPower (malakas), Super Premium (tama lang pero parang malakas din), FS Unleaded (tama lang din 'to, mura pa)..

Petron XCS (i always go back to this, I get the best response and fuel economy.. but that's just me.. hehe) I have the GLS CVT variant, i make sure i keep it under 2k rpm cruise lang.. sa traffic light, i don't race pag nasa harap, unless i need to be ahead to change lane.. hehe..

best i got was 14~15km/l.. makati to tagaytay via slex on a sunday.. no traffic. hehe., worse is 6~7km/li.. extreme traffic saka sobrang init.. pag umuulan pala parang nakakatulong din sa tipid mode., siguro dahil less heat ndi nasasayang ung fuel masyado siguro. hehe.. typical city driving nasa 8~9km/li.. XCS or FS Unleaded., pero xcs na ko ulit, 95 eh. hehe..

tama yung sabi din dito sa thread, malakas talaga pag traffic, pero pag hindi, mas matipid pa minsan sa 1.3L engines.

thank you sir donz_dc86. gls-cvt din ako. okay din sakin pag highway driving feeling ko around 12 to 14km per liter ako yun nag sta. rosa ako. di ko lang matanggap sa ngayon yun city driving ko kasi from pateros to global city. 6km lang yun tapos stop light lang yun stop ko (yun nga lang 30 to 60km/h lang takbo) pag umaga dahil madaming jeep and sasakyan pero nakaka 6km/liter lang talaga. ano sir ang gamit mo na oil? my connection kaya yun oil and other setup sa takbo ko?

yes sir, may mga nadadaanan ako na stop and go, mainly because palengke at yun nga dahil sa jeep and stoplight. It was actually 12km kasi 6km papunta then balik agad ako kasi hinahatid-sundo ko lang naman si misis so parang 12km pag umaga then 12km pag gabi pag sundo ko. driver lang hehe. anyway, tingin ko wala na talaga magagawa dito unless may minor miracle sa FC ko pag change oil ko sa 5km pms.

yung sakin sa 1k PMS sir, regular oil lang from casa., pero nung nag 5k PMS ako, fully synthetic.. kakatapos lang din ng 10k PMS.. fully synthetic ulit.. hehe.. mejo pricey lang (600/liter x 4L), pero it works for me kasi hindi din ako masyado nagdadala ng sasakyan papasok ng office, usually 1~2x a week lang., so works for me yung fully synth kasi hindi masyadong reactive agad sa temperature/weather changes..

pero may effect din nga siguro yung short drive., though yung sakin naman bahay to office mga 15~16km going to, tas mga 19~20km going back., magkaiba kasi ung daan.. hehe.. depende din sa gas na gamit.. mga 7km/li lang ata ako nung release galing showroom almost 2yrs ago.. vpower97.. di ko na inulit., note kalalabas lang ng stock room, as in kaka-release lang.. hehe..

may binigay din pala saken casa sir, nitong 10k PMS ko lang, parang panlinis ng fuel line/tank ata un, ilalagay yung isang bottle kapag nag full tank, hindi ko pa din nagagamit, nasa 200petot ata yung bottle., baka maka-help.. pero bihira lang dapat mag-ganun daw kasi baka numipis daw yung tank/fuel line or kung anu man.. hehe..

Thanks sa mga information sir. 2 years na sir yun lancer mo pero kaka 10k pms mo lang? mukang bihira nyo nga talaga gamitin. ano pala tawag dun sa nilalagay pag full tank? para masabi ko din pagka 5k pms ko. pag bihira or short distance travel ba mas okay pag fully synthetic?
