Lancer GLS/GLX CVT 1.6 2009 Owner post naman dito

sa mga may reverse sensor po (GLS), bumibilis/bumabagal/nag-steady po ba yung beep nyu depende sa distance ng object sa likod? napansin ko kasi yung akin hindi. checked the manual, the beep that i'm always getting eh yung beep na nandun sa 'have your sensor checked' haha! simula nung binili ko ganun na yung beeps eh.. 1 long, 2 short paulit ulit.. hindi nagbabago ng speed. kahapon ko lang naisip i-check yung manual nung sensor, sira nga ata yung akin since day1, di ko kasi pinapansin yung beep, tingin pdin ako sa likod kasi pag umaatras, as i don't really trust it.. :D or kung may reset or something, would anybody know how kung meron man? otherwise, dalin ko na lang ulit sa casa to have it fixed or replaced if needed, may warranty naman.. hehe..

i own a GLS bro.. ok naman yung sensor ko although di rin ako nagrerely fully sa kanya hehehe... minsan tantyahan pa rin on my part kakagulat lang minsan biglang nagbebeep ng mabilis yun pala may dumaan na tao sa likod

It could also be that the shocks themselves are already out. If they don't have enough gas or they're punctured, they won't have enough power to 'absorb' the weight of the car, which causes the sound that you're hearing kasi may tumatama na, na hindi dapat tamaan, which is I think what is happening when you pass by a hump.

*0Glitch, thanks sa input. Had my suspension checked and repaired a few weeks back sa casa. Wala nman pinalitan kasi all parts are still ok pa daw (??). Observe ko din until now yung tunog. Although humina pero nandoon pa din intermittent tunog/kalog. Kaya todo ingat ako sa mga lubak at humps. Im planning if lumala ulit to have second opinion on other shops.

If yours is a GLS, you might want to check the foglight housings, they shake too, and they shake often when you are turning and you go thru a bump. The housings have a spring which allows us to aim the foglight beam the way we want to. One of those screws there loosen up a bit everyday due to vibrations. The shocks should be tougher than the usual because its the gas-type already. Also, our shock system is quite good because mitsu has somehow corrected the 'kalampag' syndrome of previous lancers.

The sensor's beep should be flat at 0.5 meter. Try to manually check that. Other than that, replace it.

nah, it's not flat (non-stop straight beeping) even at an inch. it's a long beep and 2 short ones repeating.. checked the manual, says that sound is an indication that it needs to be checked. this weekend na lang. been like that since the car was released from the showroom, di ko napansin until now. :D

Mga bro's, need your help naman po. May sample format po ba kayo ng affidavit of accident? Nabanga kasi ako kanina lang, sa tapat pa ng opis namin.

Balak ko sana ipasok sa insurance (own damage) since ngayon lang ako nabanga with compre insurance... Thanks po in advance.

Talaga namang when it rains, it pours.

1 week ago I've also been hit by a 'white' car. Tinamaan niya habang naka-park auto ko sa front bumper drivers side. Tapos tinakbuhan. Bukas hahanapin ko sya since may cctv sa may tapat ng bahay.

Anyways, here's my 'generic' copy, copy it as-is, then paste it on word kasi may specific format ata sa mga notary public.
