yup I know that bro, I just made himay himay the facts
for better reading of other co forumers
the 4d56 VGT High powered version has only been in the aussie market late 2009
Actually it doesn't necessarily mean you can't use a VGT system with low quality fuels...(look at hyundai) its just a matter of properly detuning the model to adapt to lower quality fuel...also try checking out mitsubishi forums in australia they also have a lot of issues regarding the quality of their diesel fuel.
they already have since 2009 as far as I can remember...if not earlier maybe at the same time as australia... Surprisingly for the triton, mitsu europe sticked with the idea of ditching out the 4m41 for it and rather sticking with the 4d56 VGT even if the quality of their diesel fuel is top nothch...maybe it has really something to do with economic matters
yes, thailand will be getting the 2.5 VGT as a matter of fact a co member from thailand already has some inside scoop regarding it...even toyota and isuzu has already been following the VGT trend and will be soon launching their own respective versions
ahhh I see...thanks for the info....I think a have a couple of questions regarding it...medyo OT na dito...so maybe we can post things in the Pajero thread perhaps?TIA
BTW bro...I just invited you in facebook...I surely hope you can attend the upcoming EB's of TSCP...
PS....I've tried the multicolor answering method I find it easier rather quoting every part of the statement.....because its been a while that I had this kind of discussion...thanks bro!

Thanks for ur info, for the compass I think Im quite satisfied dahil the three rides points in SE quadrant sa garage namin ( Strada,MS & once we have still the gran lady FM PJRO). The only big ?? for MS is the distance guarantee of what is left for my fuel. The strada does not need reset whenever you top up the fuel, automatic syang nag aadjust.
Thanks--RTS

October 19th, 2010 11:11 AM #598SUDDEN LOST OF POWER after long idle while pressing the brake and on the Drive shift.
I understand somewhere here in the forum experience this. that guy was right.
I was on my way to Bulacan when i got in a traffic along Congressional street due to convoy of cars for campaigning politicians trying to cross an intersection. Maybe around 10 minutes. I keept the brake peddal pressed while on the drive (loo lazy kasi) shift.
When the tarfiic was clear, everybody tried to sprint away. I tried to push the accelarator peddal down to gain sprint speed (you imagine how hard i did in frustration of the traffic), the car moves forward but suddenly the engine is not responding to sprint and is about to slow down like something coverred the air intake. I had to release the gas peddal and push it again. It recovered and moved but not that responsive to the gass peddal. It seems like there is a clogged air or gas inatake. I pulled over the side road, and switch off the engine for a minute or two. Then, it run good after.
Imagine you have the problem while trying to overtake Fort? Patay ka!!
That was terrible. I do not know why people still buy this car. But man, i love the power of the GLS SE engine (except the other problems).

October 19th, 2010 12:00 PM #599Sir try to have your EGR cleaned by the casa. I also experienced that for the last 2 weeks. Then I brought my MS to Diamond Valle Verde for 25K km PMS last Saturday. I complained about the loss of power and some other complaints. Diamond Valle Verde checked my SCV for clogging using the MUT. My SCV still works perfectly. Then the mechanics told me that they will clean the EGR because it might be the probable cause of the loss of power. After tey cleaned it, birit kaagad sa C5. The loss of power disappeared.
