kadadala ko lang kanina ng montero se namin, yung steering column nya irereplace kasi may eeeeee sound when turning left or right...

On the good side, i love the performance compared to my previous car. Puro sedan and mini suv kasi dati ko car ahehehehe....

Ramdam na ramdam ko kasi sir yung disappointment mo sa Monty mo... bad enough to want to sell the car na after just 1 year...

I heard of Mitsu's problems in the past, that's why I didn't get any cars from them... Now latest post steering column ulit ang problem ni igwitf...

Scary talaga... wife ko type na type ang Monty, ako rin... pero mukhang we will test drive several options muna... like the Sorento and fortuner and sta fe... pati na rin Monty before we finally decide...

sad to hear this disappointment that you guys experienced.
i am a satisfied owner of a 2009 gls se for two years and 27 days now and so far so good as far as my ride is concerned never had any problems and shes logging 33k+ mile age now.probably one of those earliest montys that mmpc released after the launching last august 2008.the farthest place that i've been to with my monty is the bicol region.

[SIZE=3]Btw, I have bought my Monty last February 2010, so 7 mos old pa lang sya. Mine is GLS 4X2 A/T. Kaya it's a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT na nag-stall agad ng ganun...

. But still, I am hoping that sana di na maulit yun, especially pag nag-oovertake ako sa highway. Sir Toronegro, yung mags mo ba e galing sa Mitsu casa? Yung Mags ko kasi sa labas ko nabili. May mavo-void ba na warranty yun? Just asking.[/SIZE]

sa labas ko din nabili yung mags ko mahal kasi sa casa,yes sir Zeph yung sa suspension pag nasira di na sagot ng warranty,di na stock yung gamit natin kaya kailangan ingat din.

Iam surprised na may mga ganitong issues pala ang MS, I'm so impressed pa naman sa car na ito kasi ang ganda ng specs nya and at first my confidence to MMC when it comes to diesel engine. you think guys this lag of power is isolated lang sa mga Monty na A/T. Kasi type ko yung Manual version nya.

sir the 2.5 montero has a 4D56 16-valve DOHC engine under its hood

yun nga lang hindi VGT ang ang variants natin dito... maybe that's why may turbo lag.

Oo nga, considered 2nd gen DI-D yung 4D56 natin. May 3rd gen na pala w/VGT...
