Pwede ba akong makisingit ng sagot being a former strada owner myself and having experience with auto trans vehicles.
Yung tikitiktik sound after turning the engine off is normal. I've observed this too with my strada before and I think it has something to do with the contraction of metal parts during cooling. We know that metal expands when exposed to heat and contracts when cold. Since the engine is composed of several metal alloys, some would contract faster than the others. So, if two different and adjacent metal alloys contract during cooling, this may cause some friction and may emit the "tik" sound. Notice that it disappears a few minutes later.
Yun namang "thug" sound during acceleration and deceleration, it could be due to "shift shock" of the automatic transmission, meaning, the gear downshifts or upshifts rather roughly. I noticed this to all my diesel A/Ts (my old frontier and my current everest) and it is observed at low gear shifting, between 1st and 2nd or between 2nd and 3rd. The higher gears would shift smoothly, though. Maybe, this could be due to the massive low rpm torque of diesels. I did not have this with my petrol cars (honda jazz and my present jimny). So sa tingin ko, normal lang ito for diesel A/Ts.
Just my 2 centavos...
