Minor Issues:

1. Front Wiper too hard. It's squeaking sound makes me furious hehehe!

2. Lighter button fuse busted after 3 days. I had my phone charged sa button na yun.

3. Headlight and fog lights moist.

not tries adventure yet. But i drove some SUV. It is not as hard as this one.

guys, im also a newbie in the forum as well as buying and owning a diesel engine car. im planning to purchase a car - choosing between CRV 4x4 or a MS 2.5 GLS. im concern about the following, hope you guys can enlighten me:

1. MS - being diesel, is the engine noise really that bad? i test drove it, i thought the noise was coming from road vibration rather engine noise. can it be controlled by putting dynamat on the flooring?
2. MS - road vibration or road noise; tested a subaru forester - they used thicker metal sheet, road noise is minimal; CRV has more road noise than subaru due to thinner metal sheet, but far quiter than MS; can the road noise be controlled by dynamat on the doors and flooring? im planning to put dynamat anyways due to my love for audio. or should it be addressed by changing the suspension and bushing? im not that knowledgeable on car tech thou
3. i hate rain drop sounds on the roof; my subaru controls it very well. so does my camry. but my civic is very noisy so couldnt appreciate my music if its raining. so i also am very particular on this; can dynamat solve this?

reasons why i want to buy a MS is that i prefer having a higher ground clearance for floods. that is it. well, also MS looks cool.

engine acceleration is ok. so no problem with that.

but should i buy a MS over a CRV? dont think CRV can cross over Knee-deep flood kasi. thanks a bunch guys.

additional questions:

i heard about the horror stories of mitsu QC for the past 10 years so it scares the hell out of me. is it really that bad? never owned a Mitsu. it used to be last of the brand i would ever buy. but MS is quite nice.

also, i prefer low maintenance cars. less headache. is diesel a high maintenance engine?

I want your thoughts too mark. i amgoing to the mountanous region of Kalinga (municipality of Balbalan, Kalinga province). Yhe road is rough but not rugged with rocks. Maybe with deep muds only. Will my Montero GLS SE take the plunge? I need your advise. Thanks...

sir easyman, have you tried going on this trip with your MS na?

I think the MS GLS SE 4x4 can take the roads here with ease.

3 of our SUVs were able to bring us there for church missions and back in Manila with no problems. All stock

00' Expedition, 06' Trailblazer and an '06 Expedition EB. Yun nga lang with the trail may konting sumasayad na rocks and mud minsan kasi hindi masyado mataas yung ground clearance. On those trips may kasama kame na Nissan Urvan

anyone experiencing this? after driving my MS 3.2 what is the sound clicking on my engine? after mo gamitin tapos syempre papatayin yung engine there's this sound clicking loudly sa engine ano kaya yun? natural lang?

and i've heard na dapat after using the MS dapat wag agad patayin because of the turbo masisira daw? eh sometimes i turn off the engine agad pagdating sa pupuntahan ko.

I did hear that click too. I have to talk to the SA yet.

Turbo? the manufacturer knows better. No warning on manual. Not to worry. Their reputation is at stake if damaged. Unless you want your car to last a century.

Wow! great travel! how is balbalan nature wonders? The typhoon prevented my travel. But the road to Sta Anna thru Lalo is rough too and it did konting sayad. I will keep you informed in case i will travel after a week.

CRV for city and provincial travel without the rugged and rough road. Otherwise, Monty will be safer with LSD.

another question: i have a problem with my compass i need to calibrate it daw tapos pagpindot ko ng cal button meron lumabas na text "drive slowly on curves" basta parang ganun. i don't know how to fix this. paano yun?
