Just a recommendation: (mine is an l300fb 1996 model)
.) convert from vertical to horizontal mounting ang aircon evaporator para mas malakas ang air flow going to the radiator
.) lagyan mo ng aux. Fan ang harap ng radiator (separate switch para may option ka when to use it)
.) remove thermostat (sa may water pump)
.) check ang water pump or replace if worn out
.) ipa-overhaul mo ang radiator
.) use a quality engine oil (10w/40)
.) calibrate ang injection pump
.) check clutch disc/clutch pressure (replace if worn out) usually kc pilit na pilit na makina with high rpm's eh ang takbo nahihirapan na maka-abot ng 90 or 100kph. (max 140)
.) ipa-tune up baka masikip lang ang mga barbola
.) timing belt
.) replace air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, cylinder gasket
.) last option if necessary...ipaoverhaul mo na engine nyan

Do not remove the thermostat. Replace if worn out but don't operate the vehicle without it.
